I stayed here on business from 22nd to 26th January 2017 and I must say I was surprised by how good this hotel was in the middle of all the adversity facing this region. The general hotel condition and outlook was quite good with extensive security arrangements at the gate, concrete barriers across the compound and also across the hotel...

It is a good hotel. A lot of security to get into the complex, and the hotel is known for being safe. I slept in one of the cottages, which was basic and simple, but clean. The food was quite good. I felt comfortable, also as a female traveler.

One of the better hotels in Hargesia. Plenty of security getting onto the property and into the hotel. Not sure how well protected the compound walls seemed to be. Staff spoke passable English and seemed ready to please. Rooms were clean. Our room did not have AC.

Hotel Maan-Soor is the best hotel in town. Rating “very good” is adjusted to the standards of the hotels in that region and size. Clean rooms, warm water, very friendly staff and good security. A very good choice for meeting and seminars and the free WIFI works well 24/7.

Stayed here for about 3 days, and felt very comfortable - except for the mosquito net one had to use at nights. Nothing fancy, but extremely functional rooms, well-kept, and properly maintained. Have tasted some the freshest fruits & vegetables in my life here. The flavor and taste reminded me of bygone days, when such produce used to be available...

So its Hargeisa so don't expect much. However, the rooms are clean and fairly quiet. Food gets dull after a week of so but coffee is excellent. Gym is not functional expect for a few activities. Its basically between this and the Ambassador. This hotel is in town and Ambassador in near airport.

Although the hotel was very busy the staff were always helpful to me and the room comfortable, clean and well provisioned. The restaurant food isn't bad and average hotel prices. it would have been nice to have some traditional Somali food on the menu. Fruit and fruit juices were very good.

It felt secure but was incredibly busy on some nights. The hotel is grand but it does not appear the management pay much attention to detail. The rooms (beddings) and particularly bathrooms could be better. Wifi strength was wanting. The food was really good though. Absolutely loved it!

We stayed here for one night in May, 2016. The Mansour Hotel is a few kilometers out of the town of Berbera, across from the beach, but not near anything else. The rooms were fine, the AC efficient, the food at breakfast acceptable. At $84 it’s outrageously over priced. There are some hotels in town listed in Lonely Planet. Friends...
