Whilst many resorts pay lip service to eco tourism Chumbe is different. With the whole reason for existing to conserve nature and educate. Whole experience was smoothly run from boat trip out, forest walk, snorkelling trip, and delicious dinner under the stars. Food amazing

From the moment you arrive at the pick up point it was clear we were in for something special. The boat trip out to Chumbe takes about 40 minutes and was nice and refreshing. The Island is really special, made from fossilised coral, and partly surrounded by coral reefs. The

Staying at Chumbe was a great experience. We left with pain in our hearts. The nature, the food, the kind staff... Because you are surrounded by only nature its a good place to really spend time together with your family, playing cards and football on the beach.

This tiny resort in the Indian Ocean off of Zanzibar may be the most amazing place I have ever been. The wildlife, beach, buildings, food and staff all delight. Each bungalow is like a private, eco friendly tree house with a view of tree tops and the ocean.

Hi Allison, we have booked our stay online at booking. And there was a Pickup/Transfer included. Just ask for it. The private ferry to Chumbe leaves at the "Protea Hotel by Marriott Zanzibar Mbweni Ruins." You can always look on booking for the availabilities. I think this is the easiest way. Or you try it in the travel agencies on Zanzibar. For more informations you can visit the chumbeisland website. Greetings Rob
