Highly recommend this place. We had a very comfortable stay. The location By the river was beautiful and its proximity to the old town really special. We were only sorry to not be able to stay longer. Was just the sort of place we needed after a long day of hiking.

This absolutely splendid hotel really deserves accolades. A wonderful spot in a medieval village Excellent rooms, food and hospitality. Most stuff even has english translations! Just the nicest warmest hotel we have stayed in over the last 6 months in europe.

A 2-star hotel that really deserves 3. Lovely setting, superb (large) rooms, fine linens, coffee/tea in the room, excellent restaurant, charming staff. What more does one want? will stay here again.......

The hotel is certainly in a beautiful setting but its such a shame that all the accommodation faces over the courtyard. Our room was comfortable but Paris dimensions in its size. Perhaps even smaller than Paris! We are in the middle of a heatwave so why I needed to ask are the winter donnas still on the bed? The hotel...

The setting is beautiful, but the manager can not be trusted. We made a reservation that was confirmed in writing by the manager. One week later, we got a phonecall, saying there was a problem with our reservation, but the manager found an even better hotel for the same price. As it turned out at our arrival, the hotel proposed...

Another hotel booked for my one-week walking holiday through the Dordogne. I was very pleased to get a double bedded room. The room ('Maraline') was a nice size, bright and airy with a window that opened over the front entrance of the hotel. Room was very clean, bed comfortable, and space to move around. Shower was small and the base...

This hotel proved to be nothing special one way or the other - but perhaps the fact that it was raining the whole time we were there in August took the shine off it. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor terrace and riverside view, which probably add to the experience. Our room was a bit small and the bathroom...

We arrived without a booking, and were pleased there was a vacancy here for a few nights. We didn't see another hotel in town where we would have preferred to have stayed. The setting is quiet, on a road of old residential houses, away from the main streets. We ate here every night because the food was so good, and...

Lovely location, dining room lots of character and very colourful, bed comfortable. However advert stated pet friendly and pets stay free. We booked with our two dogs for a one night stay. When we left the room to go out for a meal in a restaurant, we were told by the proprietor that they were an Auberge not a Kennels...

Stayed here for 1 night in May while travelling in the Dordogne region. When we arrived staff seemed confused that we had a booking, although I'd booked months earlier online with credit card details and received a reservation number , apparently I hadn't confirmed (?) Maybe my lack of French when deciphering their email was the reason. Anyway we were...
