We happened upon this restaurant in late September looking for lunch, and I'm embarrassed to say I'm no longer certain what main plate I had. Pretty sure it was a braise, pork or lamb. But I remember my companions reveling in typical Perigeux fare; delightful small salad, a cream soup. We hadn't planned for a sweet, but ordered anyway, I...

Lovely owners and staff make this boutique hotel even more special. Excellent restaurant and very enjoyable wine list. The location, on the banks of the Dordogne, is nothing short of beautiful with the medieval village as a backdrop.

The location of this hotel is superb - with a lovely view out over the river. I enjoyed my visit in October, but it must be even better in warmer weather, when guests would make use of the terraces. The restaurant is of a very high standard, the rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the owners are on hand to...

Came across this beautifully located restaurant by chance, it was just across the (in October closed) 12th century Chapel of th Penitents. Small card, with rather surprising dishes. The ris de veau (sweetbread) was the best we've tasted in the past years.

We had a fine relaxing stay at this hotel and restaurant. Beaulieu is a beautiful town, and this place is right in the heart of the old town, and right on the river. The room was a suite, large, quiet, clean and comfortable, w a fresh comfortable king bed. The staff is helpful, once they warm up a bit. The restaurant...

Spent one night of a two-night stay in Beaulieu at this hotel,.Accommodation in town being somewhat in short supply in August we were perhaps fortunate to have got a room at all, but it was of no more than adequate standard and situated at the back of the hotel overlooking a blank wall on the other side of an alley....

Headed here for an evening meal with my partner whilst on holiday in the area. Very well presented restaurants with a view of the Dordogne river. Our waiter was extremely helpful and assisted us in our French pronunciation rather than speaking English which we really liked. The food was a higher level in both flavours and presentation than I expected....

We happened upon this restaurant in a hotel right on the Dordogne River. Reservations are a must. Atmostphere is beautiful, right on the river, and the food equally as good. We had fois gras appetizer that was as good as any we have had. The duck was cooked to perfection and the accompaning vegetables were just perfect. Dessert was a...
