Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here as a family of 3. We had 2 double beds (140 cms. typical in France, in 2 adjoining rooms called a family room. Bathroom small and had to be careful with shower as no curtain or door but it was OK. Storage for personal articles fine in bathroom, good towels, . Breakfast was typically French with good cereal, croissants, yogurt , fresh bread and fruit. A small lounge is cozy and an outdoor terrace is nice. The owner, manager was very helpful and almost always available. Étretat is fabulous and warrants a visit for sure.

The establishment seems to be clean and ok. But. A night service closing before a restaurant. That's it. A "kind" guy on the phone who tells you "sorry I work from 8am to 20pm, I don't know if you can do that...". Oh really? Is it my problem? -> change job. There are others hotels around :)

We had a very pleasant stay here, the staff were great and helpful with information about parking. The rooms were clean and tidy with en suite. The breakfast was copious, the bread fresh and tasty. Just right for a short break.

Nice hotel centrally located but no parking but plenty of spaces close by but all need payment. Rooms clean and nicely decorated and spacious breakfast room which served a simple breakfast but good. Only real downside could be the quite narrow and turning staircases so think twice if unsteady on the legs

The staff (i.e., the hotel owner) was most helpful in accommodating our late check-in. The room was very beautiful (we stayed in the 'Monet' room), with a homely feeling. The spiral staircase, although enchanting, made it a bit difficult to get our luggage to the room (we were travelling with a large suitcase). The wooden floors made a bit of noise, but not in a bothersome way. The location was great, with the beaches 5 minutes away, and the center only 3 minutes away. Parking was somewhat difficult to find, with the larger parking lots being about 10 minutes on foot.

The magnificent hotel with the creative room design reflecting the magic beauty of Etretat nature and sea. Wonderful location, clean rooms, cozy bed, the assortment of coffee flavours to taste at the relaxing terrace. The owner and the manager of the place, Guillaume, creates maximum comfort for his guests.

We stayed just for one night in this beautiful and very interesting town. Lucky we were to habe choosen this hotel. The moment you step in you get this peaceful vibe of the hotel. The person who attended us was friendly and helpfull. The rooms are very beautiful and well designed. The hotel has a cotton field smell to it that makes everything a bit more nicer ;). The breakfast area is big and there is a lot of light coming in. This hotel is a great hotel if you want to visit Etretat. And it is not too expensive either. I will sure come again.

Very good central location, 10 mins on foot to the beach and the cliffs. Very friendly staff. Stylish decor in an old building. The place is very well kept. The hotel has no private parking and there is no free parking nearby so be prepared to park in the street and pay.

We stayed one night in this nicely situated hotel in Etretat. The staff (owner) is very friendly and gives lot of suggestions what to do and where to eat in the city. Everything is on walking distance. The hotel is nicely decorated. Parking in front of the hotel can be a problem. Nearby is a big parking place. Be sure to visit the beach. The cliffs there are famous.
