We visited Santorini for our Honeymoon and stayed a the beautiful Vino Houses! Yota was an amazing host, with great recommendations and knowledge of the local area, thank you so much for looking after us!
The 2 person honeymoon villa was ideal for us, near enough to walk into Finika and Oia, but with the privacy and quiet to properly relax!
We also got the bus to Fira twice during our stay and this was very simple to do.
The rooms were perfectly clean with towels provided, strong WiFi, breakfast served daily was delicious - we cannot fault anything and would highly recommend!
Thank you again, Alice & Charlie

EVERYTHING was perfect for our 3 night stay in Mezzo Villa at Vino Houses. We could not fault a thing with this place and our only wish is that we could have stayed longer. The room was bright, airy, clean, cool and decorated beautifully with the Greek blue and white theme. The shower was delightful and the bed was so comfy. There were some kitchen facilities in the room including a fridge with items to buy from the mini bar at good prices which was handy when not wanting to visit a shop and this was re-stocked whenever requested. The outside terrace was amazing and had everything we needed. Dining table and chairs for our delicious morning breakfast which was served at a time requested by us each day. A large sail for shade where needed. A hot tub/small pool which was at a perfect temperature so suitable to use during the day and night. A big lounge bed with a great view up to Finikia whilst we sunbathed. The location for us was just what we needed, a couple of minute to walk up to Finikia for the nearest mini-market and restaurants and just 10 mins out from Oia so close enough but away from the crowds. You could stay here with or without a car/quad depending on how much you wanted to rely on taxis. But what really made our stay so special here was the incredible host, Yota. She went above and beyond for us from start to finish. Taking us through everything we needed to know when we arrived including some of her favourite places to visits, booking restaurant reservations, booking transfers, arranging car hire, answering any questions we had and being available whenever we needed. We will most definitely be back!

Superb! in one word, just superb! The place exceeded the expectations from the pictures on the website, the area surrounding the property is unique, you're in the middle of beautiful hills, vineyards, wine makers, you have glimpse of the sea and your senses are overwhelmed in every corner. The property is spotless and you feel like in a 5 star resort but with the warm feeling of being invited in a private house. The village of Finikia just above is where the local go to eat and stay away from the touristic crowd so you'll find peace and some of the best restaurant in the island (Krinaki n.1!) . Oia is just 5 minutes away with a scooter if you feel like more night life and shops. Our amazing host Yota was the key to our perfect holiday, she made us feel welcome and looked after every need big or small from the first minute. She suggested all her favourite spots which made us experience life on the island as locals and not as tourists. She was available every moment to answer our queries and she also kindly open some door of restaurants which wanted to be a bit difficult to deal with as tourists. we can't thank her enough . The staff is also amazing, Aida served us a perfect breakfast every morning to our door and she kept the house spotless for all our 10 days of staying. It's safe to say that you arrive at Vino Houses as strangers and you leave as friends.

My wife and I stayed here at Vino Houses in September. Our trip to Santorini was amaazing. And the main reason was this place. We stayed in the Mezzo, which is slightly separated from the other villas at Vino Houses. The room was so nicely decorated and our private outside areas caught all the good morning and evening angles of the sun. It truly is a tranquil place to stay, and we could have spent all day and every day there soaking up the sun and dipping into the pool. The breakfasts were really good, and the location is quite yet a nice walk into the busy cliff tops of Oia and Finikia. The nearby vineyard is a must-visit for their tasting courses.

Yota could not have been a better host to us. Her family, staff, and Blacky the dog were all very nice and welcoming. Yota's knowledge and network on the island were invaluable, and she was always more than willing to have a chat with us to discuss our plans. It's always so much better when you have someone locall to help you.

Don't hesitate, this place is worth it and sweet as Greek honey. Thank you for everything, Yota.

if you go thru management (Yota) to find taxi, tours , boat rides etc prices will be way too expensive. Far from everything. We booked boat tour for $160 with Yota and when we double check prices with regular tour places the price was way way cheaper to our surprise $90.00 per person so we got charged $70 extra per person. pretty much got robbed in our face. After that we figured how to get around for better prices. the jacuzzi was never hot her excuse is that the temperature was only 75??? so we never got in, then cleaning the jacuzzi while we are there, so rude coming to our room see that jacuzzi is being clean. no pool , no change of towels even when requested. My son stayed one of the times we all went out and she walked into my sons room while sleeping . Not sure the reason she went in to his room snooping while we had asked not service in none of our rooms. Very disappointing of her professionalism (none).

Dear Lizzy, Thank you very much for taking the time and write your review about us. I feel very sorry that we didn't fulfill your expectations. You have asked for a semiprivate cruise and not social (with many people), as you wanted to have the company of a few people and not many. You are right that the social one costs 90 euros per person but you have chosen the medium one with the jumbo shrimps and the fish with a cost of 160 euros per person. We never advertised that we have a jacuzzi but plunge pools. We warm them up with our goodwill. We were surprised to read your comment about the towels, especially after our discussions about the environment. Although we change the towels day after day, after your first request, we were changing them every day. You have asked, “no service” only the last day, which of course we respected, something that we always do when a visitor requests. Sorry again for your disappointment. Kind regards, Yota Lazarou General Manager

We stayed at Vino Houses for 9 days in April and could not have asked for a better first family holiday with our baby girl.

Before we’d even arrived, the owner, Yota, was very quick to answer all our queries and arrange airport transfers for us. Throughout our stay, Yota did an exceptional job in looking after us, arranging boat trips and restaurant bookings within minutes of asking. She is also a great cook, providing us with simple but delicious breakfasts and dinners.

The accommodation itself was exactly what we needed. We stayed in Vinsanto which is the largest of the apartments. It was light and airy, with a gorgeous plunge pool, perfect for our daughters first go at swimming.

Vino houses is a 15 min walk away from the village of Finikia and a 30 min walk away from Oia. While that means the famous sunset isn’t on your doorstep, it does mean you are away from the crowds and it feels very tranquil. Be sure to go to Lefkes restaurant in Finikia and also to Domain Sigalas. The food is delicious.

Thank you Yota for a wonderful holiday

Vino houses is located on the hill just outside Oia on the north side of the island and about a 20 minute drive from the airport, JTR. Vino houses is part of IHG and Mr and Mrs Smith and is a small and exclusive property with personalised service. The property is overlooking the town and the sea in a quiet setting. The rooms has large outdoor terraces with a splash pool and great views. There is a good size kitchen and dining area with a well stocked fridge, and breakfast is served in your kitchen or terrace. Depending on your selection you will have one or two bedrooms and a nice bathroom. Whilst it is a quiet area, the Sigalas winery is only a 3 minute walk down the road, thus there has never been a better time for a wine tasting. A great hotel and fantastic service so don't miss it when in Santorini.

We had a very nice stay at Vino Houses. We stayed in the Mezzo villa with lots of privacy. The villa was very cosy and clean. Daily breakfast at the villa was very good. Yota is very hospitable and recommends good restaurants and sights on Santorini. The dog Blackie made our stay complete. A car is needed to explore the island.

A perfect stay for out belated honeymoon. Time to relax, time to have fun and time to heal and Yota at vino houses has created the perfect place to do that. Her kind nature, helpful and friendly manner made out holiday a complete joy. In the bedlam that is a busy Oia this place is just enough off the beaten track that it's a nice walk, but also very quiet. Being 20 steps from an amazing vineyard helps too. A bright and colourful breakfast delivered each day and a waggy tail from Blackie the dog was a great way to wake up. We cannot recommend vino houses highly enough. Thank you Yota

Vino Houses was so comfortable and the team so lovely that it quickly felt like home. Our stay was very relaxing. We loved the location, a 15 minute walk to Finikia and 30minutes walk to Oia. It was lovely to stay close to Finikia, a traditional village with good restaurants not far from the hiking path along the caldera. The breakfasts at Vino Houses were amazing, and Yota helped us book fantastic experiences, including a cruise and restaurants in Oia. We would definitely recommend.

Dear Kartik good morning from the sunny Santorini, We have replied to you on the spot but we cannot see it ! We always try to reply on the spot. As our dearest friend Sonia explained to you, we are close to Oia and on the other hand a little bit far so that you can enjoy your privacy and the quite environment that we have. All our villas has sea view and you can have free parking (something very very difficult in Oia). At your disposal for more questions and hope to see you in October ! Best regards Yota
