If you have any mobility issues or want 5* accommodation this is NOT the place for you! There are a lot of steep steps to access the apartments and that's after you manage to get down to the bay. However this suited us perfectly! Completely rustic, very basic, but very comfortable and clean apartment. My only criticism is that it... More

Good : The View is excellent. Great Sea food restaurant next door! Bad : The location is bit tricky. All the way down from Oia. Climbing up 267 steps to get to square or walking up through a long steep road. The Room is basic , although beautiful, we stayed on the 3rd floor. Kitchenne with no sugar/salt. No breakfast... Although the hotel is located at a very good spot with great view it offers quite a few facilities. F.ex. Amenities, like shampoo or soap are not included in a common room. The reception man came quite later after our arrival to check passport etc and they could offer a welcome treat like some local goodies to taste or a... More

The location is great, the inside was a very basic room but nice decorated, really if someone visits Santorini just needs a bed and nothing else. Maria and the rest of the staff were great in all aspects. About the village now, is a nice fishermans village with nice tavernas and sea.

The location is amazing!!! The view from the verandah is stunning but the accommodation is very basic like really basic kitchen and bathroom and definitely not designed for young children or anyone with mobility issues. There is no parking and you have to fight buses for a spot so make sure you have a super small car cause even a... More

We stayed in august for 5 days at Amoudi Villas and it was just perfect ! Amoudi Bay is just a piece of heaven ! The room was clean and cozy, the personnel was fantastic, they told us everything about the island, from history, to things to see and secret places to visit. From our balcony we had the perfect... Firstly Santorini is a volcanic island, so lots of up and down, and not that much level. If you are out of shape, obese, arthritic, or otherwise mobility challenged, maybe Oia, or even Santorini is not the holiday for you. The Greeks on Santorini built stairs like you have never seen before, each one of them is a different height,... More

A good view and thats it. I had an awful time there, kitchen appliances were not enough to cook anything, the room was bad with everything covered in dust, sheets stained, electric board falling off the wall, a tiny bathroom with broken flush. Also it is completely isolated and without reception so I didn't feel safe. Price is absurd.

Spectacular views of a fishing bay with tavernas and lovely Greek music at night. Quiet, location a bit difficult without a car. Bring amenities with you as climbing 300 stairs even if your fit can be a bit daunting. Otherwise basic accommodation can do with an update but made bearable by an amazing property manager called Yiannis. He went out... More

First off, thank you to Yainis, the property manager! He definitely made our stay amazing and stress free. He was so helpful in finding us places to stay that fit our needs. When booking ask for Yainis! These villas had the most peaceful view at the bottom of Oia. There is a trail close by, to a beautiful swimming and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Amoudi Villas is a small traditional suites complex built with the traditional Santorini cave house style located on the little Bay of Amoudi, the old port of Oia (exactly below the ruins of the famous sunset castle). Which is on the narrow north gate of the Caldera lagoon of Santorini with caldera view and view on the little port, that gives the privilege to enjoy the view of beautiful sailing boats and big cruise ships passing silently in and out, quite close of the bay, like if they were doing a parade just for the guests of Amoudi Villas before there balcony, with Thirassia Island as a back ground. It is maybe the only hotel on the island located on the cliff with caldera view that gives access to the sea without needing transportation (the sea is just a few metres from the entrance of the hotel), which gives you the possibility to swim in two spots (one of them is in the green waters around the famous little island of St. Nicholas, arr. 300 metres from the hotel), to enjoy the sunset from the edge of the bay (after mid September sunset can be seen from some rooms balcony of Amoudi Villas), it has some of the best fish taverns of the island, the area provides big parking capacity (which is rear for hotels with caldera view) and from there starts every day many cruises to the volcano islands etc... ... more   less
