This is our second time visiting Santorini, and second time staying at Pezoules of Oia with the wife.
This year has been a difficult one for everyone, and we needed some time off to cool down and relax.
We decided to pick Santorini, Greece again, seeing how we had the best time of our lives two years ago. Thankfully our worries about Covid and further complications were squashed the moment we set foot at the hotel.
First of all, the staff remembered us and greeted us like we were truly returning guests and friends. Everyone kept the sanitisation protocol to the max, keeping distance, giving us individually wrapped accessories, cleaning and disinfecting the room twice a day, and asking us for any extra need to be specifically catered for. We couldn't be happier! The room impeccable, the views stunning, the breakfast magnificent and grand, housecleaning at perfection, the friendliest and most unobtrusive staff, and the care for detail is still at an all-time high in this establishment. We truly felt like we were vacationing at a private villa all to ourselves!
We thank Dimitri and the rest of the team for another unforgettable stay at the hotel!
All the best and we are sure to visit again with the wifey!
P.S. the island was much quieter than last time, with less people in the streets, making for a more enjoyable experience altogether.

When I met my wife 5 years ago, she shared that her dream vacation was Santorini, Greece. For our honeymoon 4.5 years later, we went to Santorini, and it was better than either of us could have dreamed, and Our experience at Pezoules made it so. Dimitri, his wife own and operate the Pezoules, and they are tremendous. We paid a bit extra and they arranged an airport transport in a Mercedes with an exceptionally friendly driver who gave us a tour of the island en route to the hotel. Upon arrival to Oia, a valet gentleman named Ismeal managed to carry all 5 of our pieces of luggage to the cliffside villas of Pezoules. Dimitri greeted us and escorted us to our villa with a Panoramic view of the caldera. Each evening I would arrange a time for our next morning breakfast, and a friendly young man would have our breakfast plates with our choice of tea or coffee and juices waiting for us on our patio overlooking the caldera. They have a common area pool, but we were often the only one's using it, and they have a bar tender in the pool area at all times with reasonably priced drinks and extremely friendly staff all around. We decided to rent a Jeep to cruise the island and Dimitri's daughter arranged it with the local car rental place, and it was seamless. Make sure to have cash on hand, because you'll want to tip the staff often. Our experience was so outstanding that we canceled our plans to visit London and stayed an extra night at Pezoules. We visited Pezoules in September 2022 for our honeymoon. Having been to Fira previously we decided to try Oia and were looking for something extra special. From the moment we arrived, we realised that Pezoules was exactly what we had been looking for. Oia itself is a stunning location but the suites at Pezoules made the trip extra special in every way. What an amazing place! The suites themselves are luxurious and picturesque and the views over the Caldera are incredible. If that wasn't enough, the staff were just fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The home made (and huge) breakfast every morning on the balcony of our suite was nothing short of perfect. Fruit, greek yoghurt, meats, cheeses, pastries, breads, cakes, eggs, orange juice, tea and coffee. Wow! We opted for the Levante suite which is the lowest suite offering the most privacy and the extra steps were worth it!! The small infinity pool added to the stay and rarely did we have to share it with any other guests. The private hot tub on the balcony was another added bonus where we could sit with a glass of wine admiring the scenery. Oia itself is a busy place, especially at sunset time, but you would never know anyone else existed whilst sat on the balcony at Pezoules. Even though access is from a busy main street, it is far enough down the hill that you feel like you are the only residents on the island. It is so peaceful and so worth the trek down the steps to get to the property. The added little touches like fresh towels twice a day, a candle-lit lantern delivered to your balcony each evening and the incredible team that provided such an amazing service, made this holiday the most perfect we have had. To the team at Pezoules: Thank you to you all for a fantastic 2 weeks To anyone considering booking this hotel - do it now, you will not be disappointed!

This hotel is amazing ! We stayed here for 4 nights with our family and it almost felt like we had our own private hotel. The bar and swimming pool area was always so quiet and the cocktails were delicious, courtesy of the lovely Dimitri - the perfect bar man who is always up for a chat and makes amazing drinks. The pool view is also stunning, you cannot get bored of sitting in there and looking out into the caldera. The rooms are of an excellent standard, the bathrooms were personally a highlight, especially the cave style shower which also has great pressure. The rooms are lovely and cool due to the cave style and good air con. We also had a room with a private hot tub which was such a lovely addition to this already amazing room. The breakfast was also excellent, a great variety of options both sweet and savoury - the daily special was great, baklava and feta spinach was 10/10. Victor was also so lovely and chatty every morning when serving.The only slight thing we would change is that the eggs for breakfast were always boiled and it would have been good to pick an egg style e.g scrambled, fried, poached. I think boiled is the standard as probably easier to prepare but it meant if you wanted another type of egg it was €10 which is quite over priced for eggs. Lastly a big thank you to Dimitri who organised complimentary cake and champagne for my birthday which was really special, he made us feel welcome from the start and was a great host throughout our stay! All in all a 5 star experience - views, facilities, location and staff.

We visited Pezoules in October and had an incredible time! Our trip was the perfect escape from everything that's going on in the world. We stayed in the Louisa cave, which is is beautifully decorated and we had the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views of the caldera. Mirella and Dimitri made us feel so welcome, they offered luxurious service and a delicious homemade, authentic breakfast. Finally, we were truly impressed by the hygiene measures at the hotel, which made us feel that we were in a safe environment with the best conditions.

Pezoules embodies the Santorini dream with a stunningly picturesque view and top quality service. From the moment we entered the Pezoules property we knew this would be an incredible experience. A huge thank you to the entire staff for making our time in Oia truly magical.
The Pezoules staff was extremely helpful with recommending restaurants and helped us to arrange transportation as needed to explore other areas in Santorini. The room and grounds were pristine, and service was always quick and friendly when ordering breakfast or cocktails by the pool. There are limited rooms on the property, making the atmosphere serene and calming without feeling stuffy. As many reviews have already noted, the understated luxury of Pezoules makes it the perfect location for enjoying the beauty of Oia.
I would stay at Pezoules again in a heartbeat and have never been so sad to leave a hotel at the end of a trip.

We had the pleasure of staying at Pezoules from July 6th through the 14th, from the time we arrived we were treated impeccably. Ismael greeted us with his son, they seamlessly transported our bags to our room. From our check in with Demetri and Panay, planning our days with Ioli….to sipping expertly made cocktails, made by Dimitri, by the eternity pool, everything was perfectly executed. A highlight for me, as a chef myself, was the amazing food prepared with so much heart and love by Marella. The freshly squeezed juice, the fresh daily treat of the day, the food by the pool, I have never tasted such love and passion in food before, it made our perfect holiday into an AMAZINGLY PERFECT holiday. The breakfasts were delivered each morning by the always cheerful Victor, he is the perfect person for this job. A big thank you to Nadia and MIchael for the hard work they do often times behind the scenes. The private catamaran ride around the islands with Petros and Hassan at sunset is a definite must do, they even cook you a delicious dinner….so a great big THANK YOU to all at Pezoules who made our stay in paradise pure perfection, we will see you all next year, we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

We have stayed at Pezoules four times and it always exceeds our expectations. Starring at the Caldera is breathtaking. We love spending time with Dimitri and Mirella. She is hands down one of the best chefs preparing breakfast every morning and everything is always delicious. Victor is eager to please and always anticipates what you may need or want. He’s the kindest person and always smiling. Aoli and Dimitri are always happy to recommend an activity or make a reservation for dinner. Ishmael and Nadia make sure everything is perfect in your room and not a second goes by that they shoot you a smile or wave. Dimitri at the bar made us his signature cocktail that was to die for. If you happen to come back to the hotel later in the evening you might catch a laugh or two with Michali. He’s funny and happy. You can’t go wrong with this gem of a hotel. It’s unique in so many ways and will check every box for a beautiful vacation. We are booking as we speak for next year and bringing our friends to enjoy this place with us. I’m excited to share this experience with them. I know they will fall in love with everything Oai has to offer.

Everything about our recent stay at Pezoules was amazing. The people are super friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast in the morning, served on your own terrace, at a time you choose, is just lovely. The view from the rooms, and the infinity pool is simply breathtaking. The location is perfectly situated in the heart of Oia, yet you don’t hear any noise from the shops, bars and restaurants above. We booked seven nights at Pezoules, staying in the Levanta room but enjoyed our time so much, that we stayed an extra night…and would’ve stayed longer if we could. It’s a special place.

Myself and my friend came to pezoules on 13th September for 3 nights. We had a wonderful stay here. Check in was easy and flawless and our rooms were ready 2 hours early The hotel organised massages for us on arrival in our room on our request. We then had a lovley relaxing stay. With breakfast brought to our balcony at the time we chose . What a breakfast it was too ! Fruit, yogurt,boiled egg, cheeses and ham homemade bread cakes and croissants.. little biscuits and then a daily treat of the day ! All this was brought to us by a smiling dimitris , always plesant and helpful as were all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble they were all professional but not stuffy and it was a pleasure to have them all look after us. Our room was immaculate fresh bed linen and towels everday. The property had wonderful views from our balcony and the infinity pool. We had a lovley hot tub on our balcony which we used after dinner, where we found a lantern lit on our return . We enjoyed our wine looking at the beautiful night sky. All in all it was a wonderful stay and I would like to thank the owner Dimitri and all the staff yet again for their excellent hospitality. !
