This hotel was the perfect location for a holiday to Oia, it was away from the hustle of Oia but only a short uphill 5 to 10 minute walk up a donkey path. The sunset views from the hotel were stunning and the sunrise could also be seen from our front balcony. All staff were friendly and helpful, only advise would be that the on site restaurant lacked atmosphere and seemed out of place, but this did not effect our holiday as we had room service or ate out in Oia. If we went back to santorini I would not hesitate staying in Elea resort again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was a perfect walking distance from the Oia city centre (which was my favourite town in Santorini). From the pool to the pool bar and loungers with towels easily available the stay felt truly relaxing. Absolutely loved soaking in our hot-tub and getting a delicious breakfast delivered to our door every morning to be enjoyed on the patio.

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Ladies that worked on reception were absolute gems, helped us with taxis etc we even got a print out of top things to do at our next destination.

We stayed at Elea for 4 nights whilst visiting Santorini. It is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Oia (uphill), which was nice as you are away from the hustle and bustle. We stayed in the executive studio suite with hot tub and I would highly recommend these rooms, the hot tub is private away from the main pool area and from your terrace/balcony you can watch the sunset, enjoying a glass of wine. My only criticism is that we were in suite 7 and the kitchen was below us, so in the morning we could hear the noises in our room. We informed reception and the kitchen tried to keep the noise down but it was not possible as breakfast had to be prepared. If you are an early riser, this noise probably wouldn’t bother you, if you like a bit of a sleep in on holiday, avoid suite 7. There are two main pools which are both very nice and there were plenty of sunbeds. We never saw anyone getting up to reserve a bed early. The staff are fantastic and a real credit to the hotel, the cocktails we had were lovely, the reception staff Sytla and (I’m really sorry I forgot the name of the other lady) were so helpful organising transfers, restaurants recommendations/bookings and finding my suncream I left by the pool one day. Breakfast was always fresh and I loved how you could wake up and then decide what time you wanted breakfast (so long as you gave 30mins notice), it was also brought to our room which was another luxury. If I was in Santorini again, I would definitely come back here!

The worst hotel in our Journey. We took a junior suite but the room wasn't at that level. The shower had rust and dirt, the room was small and with no privacy at all. What is the meaning of having a jacuzzi if you are in front of the rest of the hotel ? Last but not least. When we arrived they asked for a second paymement because we didn't have the fisical card we used to paid; because, for sacurity, we are used to use virtual card. We showed the document from the bank and we offered other cards as guarantie, paid and credit. They refuse as they refuse to give us the room nor to give our Money back until the second paymement. 2 hour of discussion to Avoid to give us the rufund of the first payment before do the second. And we had one of their Best rooms. We were there only two days, immagine to have a week booked and to be obliged to pay 1.750 euros for a room you already paid. No words

Just returned from a 4 night short break spent in Elea Resort and enjoyed every aspect of it. The hotel is located only a 10 minutes walk away from Oia village and is peaceful and quiet compared to the buzz in Oia (which is also very pleasant). Yes, the hotel is fairly new and fresh, offers great views, has nice swimming pools etc. but the main strength is its staff: a well-organised, hard working, friendly and helpful team making sure that you, as a guest, have everything you need to enjoy your holiday. I would highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a quiet and relaxing environment whilst close to everything Santorini and in particular Oia has to offer.

Stayed here for 7 nights 30th June - 7th July 2022.
This is the perfect hotel in a quiet location but only a 10 minute walk uphill into the main town of Oia.
Room was excellent, only 18 apartments on the resort , private hot tub terrace & balcony, great shower very powerful, the bed was massive and very comfortable.
The breakfast which we ate most of the time outside our apartment was amazing and delivered to our terrace.
2 pools , sun beds must be the best ones we have ever been on.
All the staff throughout the resort were extremely helpful and friendly, and none more than Anni who from the first time we met couldn’t do enough for us , learned our names and nothing was too much trouble for him.
Always had a smile on is face and a chat and helpful advice on Oia.
Kept me supplied with Mythos and bar nuts, a very hard working chap. ( Yamas)
Also the receptionist can’t remember her name was very helpful with restaurants and reservations, and also printing travel paper work for me.
Would recommend this hotel 5 stars.

Had a wonderful time in Oia staying at Elea Resort. Our room (11) was clean and comfortable with a furnished terrace and hot tub outside. The pool area was spotless with comfy sunbeds and small bar area.

Service was spot on with all the staff so friendly, hard working and helpful with a special mention for Nic. We got a complimentary bottle of wine when we arrived which was a nice touch too. Breakfast was brought to our room terrace every day and was fresh and varied and really set us up for the day.

It's a small, quiet complex and all the better for that. Location is peaceful, 10 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle Oia centre and with it's own view of the sunset. But as others have said watch out for the hill into town - it's a heck of a climb.

Oia is stunning with quaint alleys and streets and jaw dropping views at every turn. Better to explore early and late though to avoid the cruise ship crowds, I would think it could be a bit manic in high season. Also be sure to book well ahead at restaurants if you want a particular time and/or table with a view.

Fira is well worth a visit, with the half hourly bus service only €1.80 each way, and we also took a catamaran sunset cruise around the island which I would highly recommend.

All in all a fabulous holiday.

This is a perfect hotel if you like a high quality environment which is in a quiet location but with easy access to the main town. The suits and rooms are well kitted out, but the thing that sets this hotel apart is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble with the hotel picking up and solving TUI problems and working very hard to make this a perfect holiday. We hope we will be able to go back.

The most amazing time ever. The resort has 16 rooms, we had the perfect room with a hot tub just opposite the pool area. It is very peaceful and calm. 5 minute walk from main streets with food places and bus stops. Highly recommend to hire a car, the lovely hotel staff will help arrange that. Make sure to book FULL insurance as we had a little hiccup accident and full insurance covered everything. Be prepared as roads are very steep and lots of hills/mountain areas and cobbled narrow streets. Ladies wear flat shoes as there is no way you can walk in heels in Santorini, only to pose. I took 6 pairs of heels and didn't wear a single one lol only to pose in pictures outside my resort.
Best resort and quality service. Breakfast was yummy, similar things daily but it is my go to food so loved it.

Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Elea for our time in your lovely resort. It was the most magical and romantic time my partner and I have had together. You made it such an amazing experience for us both. Thank you so much for helping my partner plan my surprise proposal, it was perfect and was the best day of my life so far. Massive thank you to Constantina (and I am so sorry the other lady receptionist I forgot her name). You both were so incredible. I will be back in the future. Cannot thank you enough. Also the lovely staff in the morning bringing us breakfast.

Best wishes,
love from Reeya and Kam xxxxxxxxxxx

We stayed at the hotel for a week at the end of August, beautiful hotel. It is spotless, the staff are all amazing, they can’t do enough to help you. Phillip needs a mention as he is was always around to help us with drinks/food/towels at the pool etc…he worked so hard and we had some lovely chats during our time. The downside is that the hotel is down a steep hill so walking up it to get to the centre is hard! Beware of this if you struggle with walking. We had room 14 which was absolutely tiny, all the other rooms are a good size with a hot tub outside, ours was extremely small, avoid this room at all costs.

I’m sorry, I’m not 100% but it looked like all of the rooms probably have a terrace. Our room was overlooking the pool but that was still really nice. If I was you if you have a question I would email the resort itself. I messaged them before we went and they were very helpful. I’m sure they will answer any questions you may have.
