Our cave house apartment was in a perfect location! In the heart of all that Oia has to offer, and yet not in the super crowded center. It is down some stairs so one gets the feeling of Santorini, yet it is not a chore to go back & forth to your room several times per day.

Don’t choose this hotel. My room smelled like cat pee, and when I told them the only thing they did was spray some fragrance... which obviously didn’t make a difference. The wifi doesn’t work in the rooms, it connects but it’s so slow you can’t even send texts. The bathroom is

Dear Guest, We appreciate the time you have spent to write a review regarding your stay at Armeni Village Rooms and Suites. We value our guests’ opinion and any suggestions and comments are always welcome in order for us to improve our standards and services. To begin with, when we read your review we were very surprised by your comments, as you never contacted the front desk, in order to inform us regarding any of the mentioned issues you were facing during your stay. We would really appreciated should you had informed us for any issue, so as to assist you and to provide you with the best possible solution and finally enjoy your holidays. Instead you preferred to keep it for yourself and informing us of a negative review after your departure. Stating all the above, is simply rude and offensive. As regards the wifi, we have installed the latest type of antennas so as to reach the best possible signal to the hotel’s areas, inside all the guest rooms. Unfortunately, some times the signal in the whole area of Oia, is low due to very high demand and this is also affecting our hotel. As far as the cleanliness of the bathroom and the smell of cat pee in the room is concerned, needless to say our housekeepers always ensure our rooms, suites and bathrooms alike are in pristine condition. Regarding the accommodation and bedding experience, we were not able to understand how a queen size bed could be characterized as small. Last but not least, regarding the breakfast, we kindly inform you that as stated to all of our on line channels, the breakfast is continental type and is served in the room daily at the time of the guests’ preference. It contains a rich variety of products such as bread, donuts, croissants, rusks, little pies with cheese or spinach , 3 varieties of Greek yoghurt (light 2%, strawberry and peach), jams, margarine, butter, Greek honey, salami, turkey, ham and a variety of cheeses, boiled eggs, cereals (corn flakes, corn flakes with chocolate, or fruit muesli) and of course beverages such us filtered coffee, tea (English breakfast, earl grey, green and chamomile), milk, chocolate (hot or cold) and packed orange juice. We truly apologize if our variety of products did not meet your expectations. The Management

Visiting Santorini was on my bucket list so I can check this one off. The Armeni village offers a number of suites built into the cliff as many other homes or hotels in Oia. The view is just magical and it was wonderful to have this experience. Our suite was spacious with one

The view from Armeni is excellent. I'd say it's a 270-deg view, covering the caldera and the town - unless you have room number 8, the junior suite, the balcony of which faces the caldera head-on. I too had considered Alexander's, but cancelled it in favour of Armeni. Armeni is much better located. Most hotels along the caldera will have some (or many!) stairs to be climbed. The advantage with Armeni is that it's close to the bus station (which is a pick-up point for group tours), a couple of lovely churches, restaurants, the famed sunset-viewing point, and lots of shopping. If you want something a little swankier, you could consider the Andronis Boutique Hotel right next door to Armeni. Have a good trip!

"Splurge for the private hot tub! The general pools are small so it's worth it to have your own space!"
