We have spent 10 unforgettable days at the Kamares apartments in Fira, for our Honeymoon. These apartments, and especially the view were breathtaking, but what made our stay amazing was the staff Edwart, Maria and we loved Ben and the cleaning lady her name was Leanne or Leah not sure but made our stay perfect. Breakfast is served everyday at your desired time on the balcony or in the apartment with lots to choose from. We loved the fact that the apartments are at just 5 minutes walking distance from the centre of Fira. There are supermarkets around the corner and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We have loved staying there and gutted to be leaving we will definitely be back.

We spent a week here at Kamares Apartments. It‘s a welcoming place with an amazingly nice staff. Friendly, helpful and always smiling. Given the location, it is an absolute overcrowded, touristy area. Here at Kamares we felt like being in an oasis of tranquility and relaxation. Only sometimes you could hear music from a restaurant further away. The view was absolutely amazing. Sitting on your own little Terrasse and watching the cruise ships come and go while enjoying a lovely breakfast in the morning was one of the highlights. We had rented a car and were able to park right at the entrance of the hotel. Another, not to be underestimated plus in this buzzy area. But the top highlight was our own little Jacuzzi well maintained by the staff with a view of the caldera. The rooms are simple and tastefully decorated. I can recommend this place 100%…

My husband and I travelled around Europe on our honeymoon for 7 weeks and I can confidently say that Kamares Apartments was a highlight of our trip. The apartments are truly beautiful and offer such a stunning sunset view. Eddie and Maria are assets to Kamares Apartments and their service really made our stay extra special. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. I would not hesitate to book here again and again. Thank you for an amazing stay and we look forward to coming back!

The only thing better than the best sunset view in Santorini was the service and getting to know Maria and Eduart. Both made our stay the best we have had on our European honeymoon and made it difficult to say goodbye. Special mention to them for delivering the shirt I left behind from greece to Australia free of charge. Hope to enjoy a n amazing breakfast on the balcony from heaven soon again at kamares apartments

Found the Gem!! This place is amazing. From the day/night managers (our new friends Maria and Edwart) to the staff, all were friendly and very helpful. The apartment was a cave style house with an outdoor patio and hot tub directly overlooking the caldera. 2 min walk to Fira but when you are done for the evening, nice and quiet. This is the place to stay, we had 2 weeks in paradise...thank you Kamares Apartments!!!

As we exited our taxi from the airport and headed to reception, it was hard not to notice the spectacular view. We paid a little extra to stay here and benefit from the caldera views, and we were thrilled with our decision. Super hosts Ben and Maria made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic just minutes away from restaurants, great shopping, a grocery store and buses and taxis. Oia and Kamari Beach were just 15 mins away by bus. We stayed in room #4, which had a large sitting room, sofa, chair and a small kitchen. The room also had a safe. Our balcony had a hot tub facing the sunset and Ben moved our table out daily to allow us to enjoy the incredible views during a great breakfast which was included with our stay. Breads, fruits, eggs , fresh juices, crepes etc...Though we took a couple of day trips, we never missed a sunset from our balcony which was simply breathtaking. Service was amazing and Ben and Maria check in with you to ensure you are having a great stay. The room was super clean and serviced daily and so was our hot tub. We stayed four nights and had an amazing stay. Very quiet for sleeping. We still miss our daily conversations with Ben and Maria who are 2 super nice people. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again.…

The first time we were in Greece (Athens)- it was not a pleasant experience overall, especially our experience with a rude taxi driver and some vendors. After several years, we decided to give Greece another chance, this time on the islands of Mykonos, Santorini and Crete. I am so glad we came again. The people in the Greek islands are very friendly overall. Our experience with the whole team at Kamares apartment in Santorini completely changed our minds about Greece. I was skeptical about Santorini at first as we arrived by the ferry and felt herded like a cattle- from the ferry to the bus. I should have taken Maria's offer to have a transfer pick us up. Maria is not only efficient as she contacted us a week prior to confirm our reservation and knew the time of our arrival. She welcomed us with open arms to the place with her warm personality and was willing to go above and beyond to customize our needs- from transfers to recommending to go to different places. She recommended George the taxi driver to drive us to places. George was honest and kind to tell us when we dropped our Visa card in the taxi. The rest of the team was equally amazing. Eduardo- Maria's counterpart in the evening ensured - we get what we want for breakfast and adjust the hot tub temperature accordingly. -told us what to try as far as local Greek foods are concerned. - very courteous young man Ben- waited for us upon arrival to haul our luggage up the hill. He is so punctual as far as our breakfast is concerned. It always arrived few minutes prior to the requested time. He always addressed us by our names. ( something that is important in customer service. ) Both Ben and Eduardo ensured the umbrella to protect us from the sun is opened when the conditions allow it. Both carry all luggages in one go up and down the stairs. Always willing to serve any requests from us. Lina - the cleaner ensure that room is clean daily and new towels are provided daily. The apartment is clean and relaxing and so close to the city center and yet far away from the crowd. Rick Steeves always gives good advice as far locations of hotels Are concerned #Ricksteeves. Highly recommended small apartment hotel and won't hesitate to go back. Thank you to the team of Kamares apartment for making our stay memorable. Kamares Apartments are located in the quiet edge of Fira. For families with young children, Kamares is a great location to allow for kids to get some much needed rest after a long day. Despite being away from the main action, restaurants and the bus station are a few steps away for your convenience. The views are worth every penny. From your hot tub you can see the entire caldera and don’t really need to leave to see the fabled sunset. Maria, our host, was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the island. She truly was our host during our stay in Santorini.

Firstly the positives: The location was fantastic very close to shops and amenities, the view from the apartment was stunning and the staff were very friendly, informative and helpful! The negatives: the photos of the rooms are slightly misleading as the rooms are lot more outdated than we are led to believe. Though the hot tub depth and views are lovely the hot tub was quite tepid and the jets not very powerful. There is also a time limit for use closing down at 9:30pm. The breakfast is very average for the cost of the hotel. Overall a nice stay but not worth the price tag!

This is a great facility. The staff is friendly and accomodating. And clean! So clean! I would return any time I was traveling to Santorini. It was honestly perfect. We had an issue when leaving early for the airport, and Andrew in the office located a taxi for us and even made us a box breakfast to go! I could not recommend this facility any stronger. GO!!
