Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stay in Premier Inns whenever I'm travelling, and this one isn't one of the best. The room was fine, though there was no coffee, only PG Tips tea. The bar had no proper ale available, only a couple of foreign lagers on tap. There were only two people working, and they had to cover the reception, bar and restaurant, so they were rushed off their feet. The food was decent enough.

Stayed one night to break journey from North Wales to Brighton. Ideal location with a few restaurants nearby. Clean quiet rooms and usual extremely comfortable Premier beds. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Although seemingly understaffed in the bar/restaurant area Louise in particular never stopped all evening and should be commended for her attitude and hard work.

They decided to bang on my door in the morning until I answered it. I have very low expectations of hotels, and this is the first time anyone failed to meet it. Just let me sleep. (there were no dnd signs available)

I planned to go to an alumni dinner at my old college. I booked too late to get a room in college itself, so I looked at BnBs locally. They were all expensive and had poor reviews, so I choose this. It worked well. I brought a folding bike in my car so I could cycle in (11 mins, according to Google).

Why was I put into a room which someone had been smoking in before me? Why was it not fumigated? Then I was moved to a room which was not ready. The bed was dirty and dirty towels were on the bathroom floor. This was all totally unacceptable. Also, when I went to breakfast for the first time, a waiter told me to take a seat. I waited for a long time wondering when will he ask me for my order and then thought I should ask him if it was self service. He said yes. Why didn't he tell me this when I arrived?

Stayed for one night and staff were great! Louise was very helpful during check-in and dinner service. The room was very clean and tidy and cant fault a single thing wrong with it (especially for the price) The food was great! I had fish and chips for dinner at the suggestion of the chef and it was cooked perfectly! Breakfast was also great the same chef was working and done me poached eggs that were just right! Would happily stay here again

My overall experience was stress-free, I never had any worries and the staff answered all my questions. I felt relaxed and comfortable in my room and it wasn't too far from the city centre! Would stay again!

Hotel room was nice and clean, parking was free which was a great bonus! Great transport links to the centre and super friendly staff. Breakfast was really nice and the breakfast chef Ashley was lovely, I'm a vegan and she cooked all the vegan food fresh to order, it was delicious! Will definitely stay here again.

I was transferred to Oxford Botley at short notice after an incident at my booked hotel. I wasn't the only one. The staff couldn't have done more to see that I was welcomed, fed and all round looked after. Thank you Alison, thank you all, for going above and beyond. Xx
