My (now) Fiance and I visited Great Pines for a weekend getaway in the winter. I had messaged them in advance that I was going to pop the question and arranged to have flowers delivered. They went far above and beyond - arranging the flowers in our room and providing complementary champagne for when we returned. The whole staff was...

We Stayed the weekend at Great Pines, one because they had the Lean Too, and second because they accepted dogs and was priced right. Our room was good. The parking lot was icy, but that was understandable since they just had rain. There was parking for our snowmobile trailer. We ate lunch at the Lean Too Friday, and dinner Friday...

We stayed in 2 rooms for 3 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The rooms are small with comfortable beds and linens. The rooms have small stall showers not suitable for big guys. Rooms do not have individual climate controls. The controls are in the hallway for several rooms. It was impossible to regulate temp. Too hot or too cold. Breakfast included...

We stayed at Great Pines for two nights and enjoyed every minute. Our room had a view of the lake. The two double beds and other furnishings in our room were very Adirondack-flavored with a great attention to detail. I loved the crisp sheets and down comforter with duvet cover. Not only in our room but all of the facilities...

We rented the honeymoon suite which resembles the honeymoon suite in Superman II which gave us a really good laugh. It doesn't have a view of the lake which sucks, but it was really lovely to have extra space for our gear, a fireplace and jacuzzi tub for after snowmobiling. I liked the room and we had a nice stay,...

I first stayed at The Great Pines earlier this year and was blown away by the beauty of the location and the lodge itself. The woodwork and decor are so inviting and reminiscent a warm cozy evening in a cabin with friends and family. I will absolutely return to the wonderful people at The Great Pines for many trips to...

Stunning view, beautiful and rustic design throughout facility. Very clean! Staff was amazing and recommended great hiking spots for my family. Loved the lake access and onsite restaurant. Can't wait to visit again.

Overpriced room was small and cold, only one thermostat on entire floor for all rooms. Housekeeping was minimal at best (beds not made neatly, mirror, sink and faucets not wiped down daily, had to get our own towels and toilet paper one day). We tried to be respectful of housekeeping by letting them know we were going out and our...

Electric fencing on dumpster needs at least a sign to warn people who have never seen such a thing---to avoid having a child hurt. (my dog was shocked because I was not alert enough) There was an electrical outage while we were there but no human around to explain or help. I hauled water from the lake (some distance away)...
