Great place! I highly recommend this gem of a hotel. Clean, sweet, and comfortable. Bridgette the owner is extremely friendly and helpful. I plan to stay at the Celtic every time I travel to Oneonta. Thanks, again, Bridgette!

My wife, myself, and my son were on a late summer biking trip. We wanted to camp near Oneonta, but it had rained all day and didn't look like it would stop anytime soon. I had done some research on Trip Advisor, but found either overpriced rooms ($210 per night) or cheaper rooms with mediocre-very bad reviews. Our waitress told...

After a very long day of driving from Lancaster, Pa (which included back tracking) we asked siri for a close hotel. This was what came up. Advice....if you have to stay in the Motel row....keep going. $65 per night...and overcharged!!! The room smelled horrible was extremely old and worn. The pictures of the cabins look kind of cute, but they...

Nothing fancy here but clean and quiet. More than adequate for me staying one night and moving on. Nice friendly folks, no frills, very affordable. I come to the area a couple times a year and would stay here again.

Was traveling through the area & needed a place to stay without lots of frills or expense. All other places in town were priced 2x more. Room was clean, had a kitchenette, recently renovated bathroom. Biggest drawback was the nasty musty smell. Mattress was hard, but so aren't other fancier places! Would stay here again.

I graduated college in Oneonta over 15 years ago and have visited many times since, but this little motel has always escaped me. Thanks to to other reviews here, I chose to stay here for a quick overnight visit last month to see friends and was so happy I did. A mom and pop establishment, the management was friendly and...

My husband and I have stayed at the Celtic Motel for 20+ years. Over the years we have come to know the owners and their children and we have become extended family, watching the children grow up and knowing that they look forward to our visit in July as much as we do is just the best. We have extended...

Over the last three weeks I've gone from staying at 5 star hotels in Time square to backpacking part of the Appalachian Trail in west Virginia. I've stayed in cabins, at campsites and in all sorts of hotel and motel rooms. The Celtic Motel is by far the best bang for your buck. Microwave, fridge, internet, TV.... Its the first...

The Celtic Motel is cool just because it's cool. It doesn't have to try or cry...it just is. A nice fifteen minute walk to the nearest steak house and drinking establishment. Convenient access to virtually nothing which makes me love it all the more. Go Celts!
