I stayed in the Sparrow Room with my boyfriend at the Phoenicia Belle. The room was clean and beautifully decorated, the proprietor, Tom was kind. The breakfast he prepared was way more than we expected (and delicious!) and he was great about suggesting things in the area. I highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Violet Room at the Phoenicia Belle and we really enjoyed ourselves. Tom is incredibly friendly, polite and accomodating. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast each morning was delicious: homemade granola and yogurt, tea and coffee, orange juice, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. The Belle was only a 15-20...

I've stayed in the Belle three times now and each time has been a fantastic experience. The house and rooms are spotless and the place is really cosy. The bed and duvet ( in the yellow room- that's my fave) are amazingly comfortable. Tom is a lovely generous person who is interesting and has tons of knowledge about the local...

I picked the Phoenicia Belle because it was the only hotel/motel in the area that did not require multiple night stays. My suite was extremely clean and nicely decorated. Tom, the host, is personable and helpful without being intrusive. I would stay there again if I visited the area, and would definitely recommend it.

Very cute bed and breakfast in the heart of the Catskills. My wife and I stayed here this weekend for a getaway from the city. We could not be more impressed. The Violet Suite was impeccable. Super clean, quiet, and spacious. The little kitchen nook is perfect for a breakfast or a morning cup of team. The innkeeper, Tom, has...

If you are passing through the Catskills for sightseeing, skiing or meandering down the road, you might pass through the small town of Phoenicia in the heart of the mountains. Take a night to rest at the Phoenicia Belle and experience bed-and-breakfast the way it is supposed to be. The modest two-story house is filled with charm and appointments that...

We stayed in the beautiful Phoenicia Belle on our road trip across New York State and Massachusetts in September. We phoned ahead as our drive from Seneca Falls was taking longer than planned, but we needn't have worried as Tom was very understanding and gave us a great welcome. The Rose Suite was wonderful and we had a lovely rest;...

Stayed here while visiting Woodstock, about a 20 min. drive away. Stayed in Ardrey's Suite, only room on the ground floor. It's 2 rooms and very spacious and well-appointed. I slept in the queen bed in the rear room of the suite and was very comfortable. My teenager slept on the daybed in the front room. It was nice to...

We stayed one night at the Phoenicia Belle. The Violet Suite was clean, bright, and comfortable. The deep, thick bedding helped us have the best night of sleep all week! Should we return to the Catskills, we would definitely stay here!

So happy we were able to stay at the Phoenicia Belle. We had a wonderful stay and were made to feel very welcome and comfortable for the 2 days we were there. Everything was very clean and lovely . Defnitely would only go to this area if we could stay at this charming B &B. Thank you Tom for being...

“Violet's Suite is the only one with a private bath. However, the other rooms that share a bath are equally attractive as is the bath. Not a lot of other bedrooms so sharing a bath may not be off-putting. Also, no TVs in the rooms, just in the common parlor.”
