The Red Hook Country Inn has several things going for it, which includes: first & foremost the Inn's hosts, Pat & Chef Nabil (what wonderfully friendly and helpful innkeepers), their location (near the beautiful Catskills, the mighty Hudson River and mansions of Hyde Park), and the wonderful charm of their historic B&B. Our accomodations were clean, well furnished, and tidy....

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Red Hook Country Inn. The people are great and so is the food. It's in a great location and there's so much to do. And then there are the cookies! Don't forget to ask about the history of the house.

I booked the Carriage House suite for 2 nights. When I arrived with my daughter, I was taken out back through the chicken coop and various trash and unkempt areas to a room with no electricity working in the bathroom, a fish tank and flies. Elaine was very gracious and lovely but I was not staying in that room and...

Our carriage house is located in the garden area at the back side of our inn and is generally used to accommodate larger families for extended periods of time. The area is policed daily as it is used for a variety of activities, including our hot tub and our hens that provide fresh eggs for your daily breakfast. The house...

Let me begin by saying how welcome I felt here. I was bringing my daughter to begin her Freshman year at Bard College. We had previous reservations with military lodging at West Point but did not stay due to unacceptable facilities. With hat in hand, I phoned Ms.Pat and she said to come up; she would find us a place...

I really wanted to give this hotel a higher rating because the owner and her friend were really nice people, but at the end of the day, I wouldn't stay here on my next trip to Red Hook. When my husband and I first entered the inn, there was a musty smell on the first floor and a moth ball...

We couldn't ask for more from our hosts Pat and Nabil. They are gratious and accommodating and dote on their guests. Our spacious room was newly renovated with a modern bathroom, yet the room retained its Victorian charm. Nabil's breakfast creations were wonderful, but you could get anything you wanted. Pat helped us plan our days and even sent us off...

We stayed at the Red Hook Inn for two nights and were very pleased. Not only is the Inn charming, the owners go out of their way to meet your special needs -- for example, preparing an ice pack for a post-hike achey knee -- and do it all with good grace. After hearing from other guests about the spectacular...

Charming, comfortable, pleasant inn keepers and very anxious to please. Our dinner prepared by Chef Nabil was superb and the breakfasts, included in the price of the room, were wonderful. Good choice!

The Bard Music Festival draws us to Dutchess Country every year for two long weekends. For 5 or 6 years we went from inns to B&Bs and never cared to return to any of them. Then 8 years ago we "fell into" the Red Hook Country Inn in Red Hook, NY. The owners, Pat and Nabil had purchased an old...

I saw a groupon for this place and thought why not. The pictures on this site and the inn's own site look nice enough and the reviews were okay. We stayed for 2 nights and will not go back nor recommend it. The place is extremely dated and although that is not my style I understand some appreciate it. This...
