I grew up in Saranac Lake, and my parents had a house not far from this location. We stayed two nights in the unit over the garage, which is furnished with a full kitchen. The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. Chris and Cal were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and well prepared. We had a grand... More

We stayed two nights at this B & B and enjoyed the location and the accommodations. We had the small house, which is a classic in itself but when we awoke in the morning the water view was perfect. The innkeepers made terrific breakfasts and were very helpful and friendly.

Our family of 3 stayed in the "small house". Very nice room, service and breakfast. This room has a small kitchenette. Right on the lake and only a short drive into town. Very nicely decorated with a wood stove for chilly mornings.

Property has a beautiful view and upon arrival Cal showed us through the garden and encouraged us to take what we like. However, the main house room had an overwhelming musty smell that actually made us cut our stay short. They were mostly nice about it--there was some reluctance to acknowledge the smell, but they had a 'Safe T Air'... More

We were scheduled for the main house, but Cal asked if we'd mind moving to the Applelot, which we didn't in the least. It was actually a little apartment, complete with a full kitchen and living area. Very nice. Breakfast was fantastic, as well. Great stay.

My husband & I stayed at the Apartment. It was very spacious, clean & comfortable. We paddled our canoes right there and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We saw many herons and an eagle. It is quiet here and at night it looks like you could touch the stars. The Apartment has a full kitchen with all the utensils you would... More

This has a lovely location overlooking Lake Flower . It is quiet and secluded. Cal and Chris produce excellent breakfasts. We stayed in the main house with our own patio area that overlooked the garden. The accommodation has a separate living room which was very comfortable. You do feel though that you are very much in someone's house. Other guests... More

My wife and I spent one night here. There are several rooms and we stayed in the 2-story building that is separated from the main house and which is called "Number Five." Downstairs there is a small living room, a kitchenette, and a nice-sized bathroom with shower stall. Unfortunately, there's no bathroom upstairs where a sitting room is at the... More

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. The owners, Cal and Chris are very friendly and the property was beautiful. We stayed in the Number 5. The bed is a bit tight, but hey, just fine for a honeymoon. The cottage is really cute, and we loved using the wood burning stove every night. The rates were extremely... More

Very scenic and relaxing. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment. The view was incredible. The hosts were very friendly and made great breakfast food. My wife and I had an amazing time. It was cool. It was cool. It was cool. It was really cool.

“The apartment is ideal. Bathroom is clean and updated; Bedroom is separate from the living room: Kitchen has everything you could need - just like home; Livingroom has small TV and beautiful view of the lake and mountain; Balcony was awesome. I heard no traffic.”
