Having a nine year old granddaughter who loves fishing, my husband and I decided to go camping at Fish Creek Pond. I'd told her that it was the prettiest lake, so as I drove past various lakes she would exclaim "Are we there yet for that is a pretty lake". I would reply "No, Fish Creek Pond is prettier". Finally...

After staying in many of the fine state parks throughout New York State, I have to say this is one of the best. As others have commented, the sites were very scenic right next to the water. My family loved sitting out so close to the water. The park was quiet at a reasonable time. The bathrooms were adequate for...

This campground has been one of my favorite camping trips in a long time! The campground itself is very clean and the campsites are awesome! Almost all the sites are right on the crystal clear pond, which is great for swimming, fishing, and boating. The bathrooms are a little outdated, but are well maintained. The sites are very big, and...

This state campground is notable in that nearly all of the sites are along the waterfront. Unlike many state campgrounds, there was nary a bad site to be had. Our site featured a small, sandy beach, and it was shallow enough that we could wade out quite far to romp in the waves. One downside: because this lake has access...

stayed on site 113. Bathroom directly across the street. water spicot one site away. Very flat level site . The weather was beautiful, visited the Wild center 20 minute ride. It was interesting but crowded. Visited the Adirondack Museum little over and hour ride. There were local vendors set up and the place was very nice. A day in Lake...

The campground itself was nice, it was very clean and the sites are all on the water with a sandy bottom unfortunately, this was just not our idea of camping. The sites vary in size, ours was large enough for 2 tents (we only had one) but you are right up against your neighbors so if you have lousy neighbors,...

My husband and I stayed for two nights this past weekend. Although we were surrounded by bigger campers, we had a little tent and our two motorcycles. We met the nicest people both nights, folks who had visited for decades with their families. So welcoming! Our site was right on the water and we had a little, private sandy beach...

My family has been camping at Fish Creek or Rollins Pond for over 30 years. We have had great times, have met great new friends and enjoyed the best of God's creation. This is a wonderful family oriented location and the only negative is that its popularity makes it hard to get a camping site during the peak season.

If you kayak, canoe or paddleboard and want a campsite focused on this than look no further. Beautiful lake in the heart of the High Peaks area, north of Tupper and very close to Saranac. Grounds were clean, almost every site has direct access to launch anything with a paddle, we even launched an inflatable with an electric trolling motor...

We are canadians who discovered this Garden of Eden in 2013. This campground is for nature lovers and has no electricity, direct water nor sewage. Beautiful and large waterfront sites surrounded by pin trees make it even more enjoyable. Camping at Fish Creek Pond is where you meet the most enjoyable people that share the same pleasure of life as...
