McLallen House was a great place to stay in the Finger Lakes region. We felt like we were visiting relatives, able to hang out in the foyer and borrow plates and forks for meals in. Deirdre offered helpful suggestions and tips about what to enjoy and check out in the area, and was very nice to talk to. Breakfast was...

Stayed two nights at McLallen B&B last weekend. While the reviews here are uneven, we found it to be a really pleasant experience. Our room was clean and spacious. Deirdre's breakfasts were tasty, if not amazing. Most of all, Trumansburg was a great jumping-off place from which to visit the parks, gorges, wineries, lakes and the city of ithaca. We...

We had a mini family reunion (3 couples) at McLallen House. First off don't believe the old reviews. We had no problems with the outdoor lighting or walk from the parking lot to the front door. The rooms were well appointed---no TV but excellent Wi-Fi. All had a private bath with shower stall except the largest room (Treman) had a...

Not sure what kind of experience the other reviewers had in the Finger Lakes region but this place was only okay. The owner is nice, but there are a lot of little nagging things that make it seem like she isn't trying very hard. For example, there's no lighting between the parking and the entry way which is treacherous at...

We stayed here last week. Yard is unkept and the sidewalks are uneven walking up to it. Our room was ok. However, the bed was right next to the window with the air conditioner. Sorry but I don't like an air conditioner right on top of me when I sleep and it's noisey! Room was clean though. It was far...

This was the perfect spot to rest our bones after long days exploring the many state parks in the area. It's in a great location close to the parks, wineries, and neighboring towns. Deirdre was a wonderful hostess, and a fantastic chef! She did a great job of preparing a vegetarian breakfast, even though we were the only vegs there....

My friend and I are just finishing a "girls' weekend" stay at McLallen House, which we used as a jumping-off point for the Ithaca area. The inn is on an easy-to-find corner, in a quiet residential neighborhood with plenty of parking on the property. Innkeeper Deirdre Cunningham is terrific! The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom was sparkling clean. We...

We stayed here earlier month and I'd highly recommended it. Nice environment, clean, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and great hospitality. The town itself is quaint and you're only about 10 minutes from Ithaca.

We stayed in the annex for five days. Ignore the negative reviews, this place is great!

We recently spent one night at the McLallen House, Our host and hostess were very soft spoken and full of knowledge. The house itself is decorated with an artsy flair. The breakast is from all local produce and had some tasty twists on old time favorites, with good conversation from the other patrons. With no television in the room, however,...
