The mules will also carry your bags from the centre of Imlil up to our guest house.. DAR AMADINE offers a traditional Berber experience. The rooms are decorated in true Berber style with traditional tiling and authentic Berber cuisine. There are 3 bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms western toilets and hot showers. I stayed at Dar Amdine for 7 nights in August. First of all, it is about homely hospitality, the rooms, the food and the attitude - warm and personal. The house and the room are exceptionally clean! The mattress is very comfortable, pleasant pillows and blankets. The construction of the house is traditional, so the house is protected from the heat and even in the hottest hours it is pleasant to sit in the living room or take a nap in the room. The location of the house is perfect, it is not located on the busy main road, but in the heart of the beautiful village. Just a few steps from the big river that flows from the mountains. Upstairs there is a cozy dining room and a large balcony where I sat every evening, after a wonderful hike, watching the last light illuminate the mountains and listening the sound of the water in the river. Abderahim is a perfect host, he took care of me all the time, he knows the mountains like the back of his hand and took me on amazing hikes - I highly recommend going on a mountain trek with him. Oh... and I almost forget to mention the food, Abderahim's wife cook amazing traditional berber food. I am looking forward to the next time I will come to meet the lovely family and stay in Dar Amadine. Thank you so much.

Last night, my friend and I had the most special experience staying the night in this incredible guesthouse in Imlil! The people of Imlil are so warm and friendly and made us feel so comfortable and welcome during our stay. Abdou’s family were especially lovely, including his wife Khadija who prepared us an incredibly tasty evening meal and breakfast. The couple’s daughters were so kind and polite, helping to serve the food and making sure we had everything we needed during our visit. The guesthouse’s location is just fantastic - incredibly peaceful with a beautiful terrace that has views of the river and local mountains. We couldn’t believe how lucky we were getting to eat beautiful home cooked meals against the backdrop of Mount Toubkal. If you have the energy, the terrace was also the perfect spot to watch the spectacular mountain sunrise! We wholeheartedly recommend Dar Amadine to anyone coming to Morocco, it’s an amazing place to stop for the night, enjoy the stunning mountain scenery and meet the wonderful, welcoming local people of Imlil. Thank you to Abdou’s family for looking after us so well and welcoming us to their village, we can’t wait to come back!

Imlil is such a wonderful, I've loves the view from the hotel but the staff is just horrible, the woman with the niqab needs to learn how to properly speak with her guests. Would not recommend at all!

In response to your review; I am most concerned at your rather aggressive language in describing our guest house. And also to the reasoning behind these words.. I can think of no situation that could possibly justify those kind of comments. As co-owner and an Australian, I have over the last 5 years brought many clients to stay at Dar Amadine. Groups and couples. All still telling me how much they loved their stay with us.. And how they appreciated the professional and friendly service they experienced at our guest house If you check the reviews on TripAdvisor and Booking.com you will see that each and every one of them gave us 5 stars and a positive review. I regret that you feel your stay with us was anything less than perfect.. I do not see that there could be any situation that would justify such a negative review

Stayed in the Dar Amadin for three days and had a great time. The food and the tea were great as was the view. I can only underline what all the other positive reviews say about the BnB and the owner Abdul. We've had very nice conversations with him. Moreover, as a guide, Abdul can give good suggestions for tours that you can do around Imlil. All in all I can higly recommend staying at te Dar Amadine

The stay at Dar Amadine was a highlight of our trip to Morocco. We were made to feel part of the family rather than just guests and it was a lovely insight into how a family lived in that area of Morocco. There was plenty to do if you wanted or you could just relax on the terrace against a fabulous backdrop of mountain views.

Hello "Nomad" .. thank you for your review of the tour through Morocco and your visit to Dar Amadine. We enjoyed having you stay with us at our guest house. We always like to welcome guests so they feel at home. The "'Big welcome" Moroccan catch phrase!! The music nights we had together with you and your friends were fun for us too. We believe our terrace view is next to none! Toubkal with some snow! You are welcome to come back anytime. Please bring some new friends! We look forward to seeing you and/or your friends in the near future Jane and Abdou, (and Khadija and the girls)

This is a beautifully clean guest house. En suite bathrooms for all three double bedroooms. Breakfast and dinner cooked by the family delicious . Wonderful views of the High Atlas mountains form the rooftop deck where we breakfasted every morning. Easy access to town centre and walking trails. Abdu and his family were wonderful and the locals would tell us that he is the best trekking guide in town! I would highly recommend a stay Dar Amadine.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Dar Amadine at the end of March this year. Our room (with ensuite) was very comfortable and well appointed. The view of Toubkal out our bedroom window was stunning and ever changing across the day. Khadija and Abdou provided excellent hospitality and wonderful home cooking (the best food we had in Morocco). Our only suggestion is that during cold weather Abdou makes sure that he fires up the slow combustion heater in the dining area - this would have made the sleeping/dining floor of the building more comfortable for us as night temperatures were <10C while we were there. In addition we had two excellent treks with Abdou into the surrounding mountain area. He is very knowledgeable and an excellent and patient trekking guide. We had also been fortunate to have Abdou as our guide for the preceding two weeks as we toured Morocco with our driver Hassan from Marrakech. The trip had been jointly planned by Jane and Abdou. Abdou was extremely solicitous for our welfare and always made sure that we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable trip. Hassan was an excellent expereinced and safe driver. We would highly recommend this as a safe individual way to explore the delights of Morocco.

Thank you for your review We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay at Dar Amadine and your tour through Morocco, and that Abdou and his driver looked after you so well on your 2 weeks travelling through the cities, desert and mountains of our beautiful country. We always make sure our guests are safe and comfortable whether they are relaxing at our guest house, trekking in the mountains or out on tour. Thank you for your kind words about the meals you received at Dar Amadine. And that you enjoyed the Moroccan cuisine provided by Khadija and Adbou. i take on board that the fire was not lit for you on those cold nights and apologise for any discomfort you may have had. A misunderstanding that will not happen again. i hope you will tell your friends to come and visit us at Dar Amadine or book a tour with us to see the wonderful sights of Morocco
