We read great reviews of this place and headed up from Marrakech - only to find ourselves freezing four to a room with no heating and trying to keep a smoky fireplace alight to stay warm. This place is extremely basic - despite a long-fading makeover around 2010, its basically a pretty dirty hostel reached by a mud track. Internet...

We visited for 2 nights in December received a warm welcome and some Moroccan tea, we found the wifi router was not plugged in and when we asked we were told it would be fixed the following day (this wasn't the case) our room was nicely decorated but freezing cold, we were served dinner (150MAD for 2 people) which was...

We had a very pleasant experience when we stopped at Dar Tighoula guest house while on a trip through Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys. After taking a rest on comfortable couches while sipping delicious green mint tea, we had traditional Kasbah lunch with plenty of wonderful authentic flavors. Dar Tighoula guest house is located in the valley surrounded by mountains...

Perfect view from the nice and comfortable terrace. Clean and space rooms. Nice and helpful hosts. Welcome drink - Moroccan tea was delicious. Breakfast was the best from whole stay in Moroccan guest-houses (3 jams, honey, butter, green and black olives, olive oil, eggs, tea, coffee, milk and bread). Dinner was fine and for a good price (6 Eur/person) and...

We stayed at Ahmed's guesthouse for 2 and a half weeks and enjoyed every minute. The hospitality and attentiveness from the owners and staff was exceptional. Food cooked every meal time, everyday, proper Berber hospitality. Lovely, kindhearted, beautiful people, who made us all feel very welcome. Rooms are beautiful, traditional and colourful. Would recommend to stay when in Imlil -...

One of the best place. The staff is great. They look after their clients as I have never experienced in a hotel before. They offered us tea, coffee and nuts for free all the time. They prepared great lunches and dinners on request for a very fair price. The terrace is extremely nice. The rooms are basic but spacious. And...

You have all your comforts like hot water for the shower, comfortable bed, spacious colourful room, beautiful views and friendly service. This family owned Riad, of which...

Staying in Ahmed’s place was the highlight of our visit to Morocco. Hospitality and friendliness of Ahmed and his family were amazing. Even though we arrived quite late at night we were welcomed with the mint tea. Ahmed helped with organising the transport from the airport and back to Marrakesh as well as gave us trekking guidance and organised mule...

If you're going to visit Imlil make sure you're going to stay at Dar Tighoula and taste their Tajin! We had a great time, the views from the roof terrace were astounding! The food... well I've travelled all around Morocco and I did not taste better food anywhere!
