Imlil is a hikers paradise and hikers generally don't do posh so don't expect posh here. The hotel is basic but adequate, the decor fixtures and fitting are faded and not high quality but that is offset completely by what you see outside the hotel. It sits in the centre of Imlil, a small settlement surrounded by high, imposing peaks...

A great place to launch a trekking holiday or to just experience a little of the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages without expending too much energy. The hotel is set amongst the Atlas Mountains and the scenery is spectacular. There are nearby Berber villages and a beautiful waterfall in 45 mins walk. The town is bustling with locals, mules and...

A very friendly place with delightful and attentive staff. Good food, best just to let the chef chose and go with what he suggests if you want a taste of Berber cooking. The terrace has great views across Imlil, up and down the valley. The garden is a lovely Suntrap, but the lawn needs a little work. This is a...

We had very nice stay in Imlil and we enjoyed accommodation in new redesigned rooms in this hotel. As located in the centre in Imlil, it is perfect for starting a trek with mule to the mountains. The whole stay was lovely. We really enjoyed it.

We waited for 1,5 hours for the hot water while we heard all kind of diferent excuses. Finally no hot water and no heating at the room in november Looking at my termometer the room is at 5 celsius degrees. Is this a hotel? Any of the riads around is better. Some friends are at a riad in Imlil and...

We came to Imlil during a festival (Eid al-Adha) and there were few places open other than this restaurant, so we gave it a go. We had a small cheese pizza and a lemon chicken tagine. Both were very tasty, a bit on the smaller side so I don’t recommend going there if you are looking for a big meal,...

Probably the worst experience I had in my time in Morocco, and I visited Marrakech,Fes,Meknes, and Casablanca. Horrible atmosphere, staff and other travelers were very unfriendly. Service was sickening, the guy bought me a small bottle of sparkling water when I clearly in french asked for a large still mineral bottle. I was not expecting top quality dining here in...

My wife and I served in the Peace Corps years ago in Marrakesh, so were happy to take two other couples on a visit to Morocco. We got to Imlil fairly often because it was the jump off site for many High Atlas hiking trips. I wanted to summit Toubkal, so Imlil it was. We tried to get into the...

Stayed here for one night at the end of a long trek in the High Atlas. We were greeted with refreshing pots of mint tea which we drank whilst sitting in the delightful garden listening to the Imam calling the faithful to prayer at the local mosque. After eight nights in a tent with no shower or proper toilet, to...

I enjoyed 2 nights in this hotel in comfortable, stylish room. Located in the centre of village Imlil you have many options where to go (Toubkal Trek,Taxi station back to Marrakech, small local shops).Even Imlil is very small village, i really love it here ;)
