Kasbah du Toubkal is the number one property of choice for comfortable hotel accommodation in the village of Imlil and the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Just 90 minutes from Marrakech, the Kasbah (1820 m) is set on a hilltop in the Toubkal National Park below the towering flanks of Jbel Toubkal (4167 m), the highest mountain in North Africa. The region of Imlil is in striking contrast to the busyness of the city and is a place of peace and quiet surrounded by nature. The Kasbah is 100 metres above our reception in Imlil and is reached via a 15-minute walk (mules carry your luggage). The award-winning hotel offers fourteen comfortable en-suite rooms, three of which can be used as a private self-contained house. In addition, there are three family rooms. The delightful garden and large terraces offer unparalleled views of the surrounding mountains. Our friendly and knowledgeable local Berber team will make every effort to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as it can be.

One of a kind place. Wonderful views and wonderful atmosphere. Go here if you want to enjoy nature and appreciate the tall mountains around you. Rooms are more on the basic end, but typically you are anyhow just in the rooms to sleep. Dinner is always in the hotel, as the way

Our visit to the Kasbah was an absolute treat from the moment we fell in line behind the miles carrying our bags up the hill. We enjoyed relaxing at the Kasbah and steaming in the hammam, but for us the best part by far was hiking with our guide (and local superstar), Ali. The

I stayed here for 1 night last 2 weeks. The hotel located on the top of the hill beyond imlil village. You had to stay in a car about 90 minutes driving on many curving road, which made you dizziness. However, it 's worth to come here. You will get a warm welcome, a good service

Hi Do you have air con in the bedroom ?
Hello There is no air conditioning at the Kasbah its not need is cool enough without - we do have fans in the rooms. The evening temperatures drop down to the teens so air con really not needed. Hope this helps if you want any more info please just get in contact. Thanks Mike

Hello April is one of nicest and most popular time to visit the Atlas Mountains and Kasbah du Toubkal - yes the high mountains will still have snow on them. Trekking is perfectly possible even in winter . The Kasbah is at 1800 metres in altitude and the passes over cold into other valleys is at 2200 and the snow line even in winter is 2400 to 2600 m. It would be unusual to have snow lower down in April. Hoe this helps happy to discuss if useful Mike

I would like to know about cellular telephone coverage? Internet availability or WiFi? Thank you.
Hello Imlil has good mobile phone coverage in fact the whole of Morocco has very good coverage much better than rural Europe. The Kasbah has wifi in the central areas but its not that fast. Hope this is useful Mike

Hello Thanks for thinking of staying at our Kasbah du Toubkal. This year they has already been a good fall of snow so the high mountain peaks should still have some snow on. There are many gentle and day treks to be taken from the Kasbah and these can be done on your own or better still with a guide, all of which can be booked direct from the Kasbah. Hope this is useful.
