Spent 2 nights here on a break after working in Jo'burg. The service was amazing - we arrived late and the kitchen was closed but we rang ahead and they had pizzas ready for us! Food was fine, watched England beat wales in the reasonably priced bar, and they let us check out late. It was the perfect base for...

The lodge is well equipped - the bed is confortable and the sheets are very soft ! Don't forget to take some spray in order to protect yourself against the mosquitos in the evening. Unfortunately the restaurant is not very inviting concerning the food and even the service. So you better take your meal at the Pizza Tower some kilometers...

A really pleasant and homely resort well located with good facilities and stunning views. Close to many attractions including the unbelievably beautiful Cascades hike at Royal Natal park. It also has a attractive and homely good value for money restaurant with excellent food and super friendly staff who give very good service all day long. The restaurant has a warm...

My Family had an amazing 4 days camping at Hlalanathi. The staff were friendly and the kids program amazing, allowing us to relax and really enjoyed the berg to its fullest. I will definitely be back here to camp again !!

Could not get the sites we wanted because some ablutions were closed... Lots of confusion with booking. Ablutions are not as well maintained and clean as before. The bar did not have adequate stock on what was needed. Please keep the standard up the way it was.

Very picturesque location and spacious chalets which are well appointed. If you are self catering, stock up before you get there as nearest supermarket was a long drive away. My only real negative is the beds...I could feel the springs through the mattress and pillows were uncomfortable too... shame..

Reception is only open from 7 am to 4 pm and when we arrived at 4.30 pm the guard just told as then that they didn't have a restaurant (as they said that they would have on their website(?)), we were very disappointed because we had to drive around to find other places for breakfast and dinner. They had not...

In our three weeks trip through south africa this chalet was one of the best - if not the best accommodation we had! The chalet is very clean, has a lot of space and is also very well equipped. Also the shower is good and the bed is also big enough. The view you have from some chalets is just...

We stayed here for one night on 13 August. The overall impression I got was that it was old and in need of a make-over. The chalet was spacious and the view of the snow-capped Drakensberg was lovely, but the furnishings need some upgrading and there are a lot of maintenance issues. We went for a drink at the bar...

We stayed for a weekend with family in two units. The units were spacious and had beautiful views of the Drakensberg. The units itself were in dire need if an upgrade and maintenance. However, it was clean and beds comfortable. The kitchen was nice and big and each unit has braai facilities. There is a lot of space for kids...
