We stayed 1 night – full board. Road to lodge is in very bad condition and you drive thru a villge of extreme poverty Lodge is surrounded by high wall – made us wonder who or what they were trying to keep out or in. The main building is beauitful – warm reception area, wonderful bar area with lovely artwork...

From the minute you enter you can feel the luxury and the welcoming reception with traditional dancer and beautiful reception lobby bar and the view with the swimming pool. The rooms are unbelievably beautiful. Very specious and welcoming. Need some more light for the ladies. If ever in Tanzania again for sure will come back and obviously will recommend. Sorry...

It was a lovely lodge to stay at. I loved the views of the escarpment and the placements of the rooms. Very spread out and fantastic staff. Everyone goes out of their way to make you happy. Great food too! I highly recommend this property!

After a long day at lake Manyara and lots of driving, this lodge was an amazing place to return to! The view was incredible, the staff lovely and the room beautiful! The next morning I, despite being warned of the potential outcome, didn't lock the balcony sliding door and a baboon got in to steal the milk and sugar from...

We went on a 12-day safari in Kenya and Tanzania, and we upgraded our stays in Tanzania since we had already camped quite a bit in Kenya, and judging by the reviews, budget camping in Tanzania didn't seem for us. This was a great decision because this lodge is really beautiful, great views from the restaurant and our room (including...

We stayed at the Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge one night in an eleven day safari. Loved it! The rooms were very comfortable - comfortable beds and a small porch overlooking the grassy plains with a distant view of the lake. The service was warm and gracious. and the food was delicious, as well. There were two separate lounge areas: one...

Gorgeous place, and super service. Probably one of the finest meals we had in all of Tanzania. Fantastic view of the lake. Rooms are basic but clean and with a balcony. There is a cost for internet, but it actually works, unlike many places in Tanzania.

The first impression was good, warm African reception, comfortable bar and dining areas, even a well kept (clean) swimming pool. Rooms were comfortable enough, The rooms we were given were nothing to shout about, basic accommodation . The huts we were not given were in the center of the property and had rooms on 2 levels. There were better rooms...
