Very nice decorated and clean hotel with comfortable rooms and beds and with tasty coffee, snacks and sweets. Its location is very convenient for shopping and walks in the heart of Stone Town. The hotel stuff was also friendly. I would gladly recommend it!

We had lunch here. Used gps to find the place. It was clean and the food was okay, but a bit expensive - to be expected. Coffee very good. Staff could be more inviting and friendly. Still worth the visit.

Too expensive for the service provided. Pleasant staff. Food was ok, yet could be improved. Overpriced XMas meal. Pretty place in a good place in Stone Town yet too expensive. Over-rated tripadvisor qualification I believe.

Wonderful staff (all women), excellent food and, of course, coffee. Exotic rooms but variable bathrooms and rather hard beds - better for the younger traveller! I never quite mastered the air conditioning (either freezing or boiling). Everything was, on reflection, just a little over-priced: trading on reputation and the fact that only white tourists seemed to use the place.

As always, Zanzibar Coffee House was wonderful. The rooms are great, working ACs, good wifi and very charming decorations. The staff were also very helpful and nice. The breakfast is wonderful. Really no complaints.

We spent two nights at Coffee House just before Christmas, and we absolutely loved it! The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean, the staff excellent, and the breakfast was the highlight of our day - delicious food served at the wonderful roof top with a 360 view of the surroundings. Centrally located, but still a bit out of the most...

Very nice place with extremely helpful staff. We stayed here for one night in the Espresso room. It is a large room with a private bathroom on the hallway. The room is fresh, with good AC, no mossies and a comfy bed. The room is on the street so it is a little noisy in the morning but it was...

I couldn't fault this place. From the awesome rooftop breaky and gorgeous coffee each morning to the turndown service each evening while we were out at dinner; we came home to find a/c on, sheets turned down and mozzy nets set up. Helpful, friendly , clean!
