Property's Favourite Review
We love the setup of the camp. Each one unit is very private and has a sleeping tent + a huge cooking/dining/lounge tent from which you can see antilopes graze in the neighbouring Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The kitchenis is really well equipped and there is nothing we can think of that is missing. You can also order food and we highly recommend the Terriaki Skewers.
The feeling is of real camping but with the advantage of having a proper bathroom with hot showers with good pressure and a really spacious common area.
We have been camping in Uganda for the past 17 years and this is our new favourite camping place!

Great location for spending a couple of nights when doing the safari thing in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The tents are very comfortable with a great outdoor shower attached.
Kitchen and dining facilities work well and loved being provided with the food which we then cooked / BBQ’d ourselves. The food was very high quality...fillet steaks outstanding. My only comment would be to add some bread as bacon rolls in the morning after 3-4 hours safari would have worked perfectly.
Staff were very attentive including lighting the bbq and camp fire in the evening, the latter which provided a wonderful place for relaxing after dinner just chatting and watching the stars.

Little Elephant Camp is the place to stay for a truly one of a kind experience. The camp is so well set up, we truly felt spoiled. Each site comes with a well appointed sleeping tent that includes the most wonderful outdoor shower. Showering underneath the stars is an experience not soon to forget! Your site will also have a private cooking/central tent. This is amazing. Being able to relax and cook after a day exploring was wonderful. We would highly recommend the steak - best we've EVER had. The location is also a plus. You are close to river safaris and overland safaris. You can stay entertained for days. Michelle and Kevin are fantastic, available to answer any questions you might have and to help set you up with fun activities. This place is a must for anyone visiting Queen. It's really hard to capture the feeling of this place. It is a true gem. We'll soon be back!

+1
Little Elephant camp is the perfect mix of feeling really part of the wilderness but still having many modern comforts. Our area with our sleeping tent/bathroom and kitchen tent were spotlessly clean and filled with everything we could possibly need to make our stay easy and enjoyable.
By far the best shower and wifi we experienced in Uganda as well as a fully equipped kitchen, drinking water, fridge and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the environment. The food we ordered was lovely and easy to prepare and we enjoyed cooking on the open bbq/grill and it was great to be able to buy beers on-site and have them delivered to our tent.
A special shout-out to Cris the camp
Manager who who couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. His knowledge of the local area and wildlife and insights into Ugandan life were fascinating and we very much enjoyed chatting to him.
Would highly recommend a stay at Little Elephant Camp for anyone wanting to stay on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park. We were even lucky enough to see a leopard at the side of the road on the short drive to the park gates ones morning!

Our group loves the freedom, space and privacy that the Little Elephant Camp offers, and with all the luxury of a self catering hotel. Each tent is just perfect!!
The staff are always only a call away if you need service and are never in-your-face. Fires and BBQ are lit silently in the background ready exactly when you need them.
A great location to go with friends, for relaxed socialising, away from the bustle of a busy hotel and its fixed restaurant schedules . Get a lot of Reading done !! Don't expect to see mu wildlife at the Camp though.
If you love meat, then Kevin's marinated steaks are unlike any we have had in Uganda. Brilliant. Almost worth going to the Camp just for them.
Thank you Michelle and Kevin!!

Accommodation in a large tent, maximum clean, comfortable, large kitchen. There is a private fireplace and barbecue. Large personal private space where no one will disturb you. You have to prepare the food yourself, but you can order the semi-finished products in advance and they will be ready in the refrigerator and food boxes. The grill and the fireplace will be ready for you by the always present employee, who is on the phone 24 hours a day. Well working wifi. Peace, no rush. Very suitable for relaxation ....
Remember, it's a tent, not a building. The tents are quite far apart, so you have privacy. The "buffalo" tent worked for us because it is on the edge and is right next to the safari park.

What a wonderful stay! We were here for 5 days and would have happily stayed for longer. Both of us knew this was a glamping experience, but we were unprepared for how organised and well kitted out the facilities are. We had our own kitchen and private bathroom and plenty of space. The staff are incredibly unobtrusive and very efficient, as are the owners Kevin and Michelle. Very easy to get to and well sign posted. If you need any help with QE Park and booking activities they have all the contacts and also do game drives themselves. A fantastic touch are the ready marinated meals you can pre order. We were amazed at the variety and the quality of the food we could order and also the wines and beers. Don't forget to order these at least a week before! Basically we lacked for nothing and really enjoyed our stay. Being in the hospitality industry we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camp and suggest you stay a little longer to fully appreciate it.

The Little Elephant Camp is the most unique boutique stay we've had in Uganda.
The setting of the camp is beautiful, the location is close to Queen Elizabeth National park and despite being easy to find off the main road there is a real sense of tranquillity.
The accommodation is well kitted with great attention to detail. The ensuite tents have big clean bathrooms with outdoor heated shower. The beds are comfortable and we were the perfect temperature through-out the night. The open plan main cooking and rest tent makes you feel connected to the wildlife that often comes through the site.
Michelle and Kevin are incredibly helpful, giving guidance to ensure you are prepared for your stay. You can tell they are passionate about making everyone's stay a dream stay.
The food produce is top quality and also a highlight for our trip. It was great to have more autonomy over what we were eating, the majority of lodges in Uganda provide a fixed set menu which often feels heavy.
Over all, the stay was perfect for us as a group of couples and friends. We can't wait to come back and stay with family, friends and loved ones. The Little Elephant Camp is a must stay location for anyone visiting Uganda.

I travelled to Little Elephant camp with my 8 year old son and colleagues from work. We were really excited and my son was excited to have a shower outside! Staying at the camp really exceeded our already good expectations. The team have such a great attention to detail. The kitchen was really well organised with everything we needed and there were places to charge our phones and gadgets. The tents were really comfortable with the softest towels and privacy was perfect. We all had privacy but still felt together as a group sharing the communal areas etc. Our kids really enjoyed marshmallows by the camp fire and the team were ready to help with anything needed along the way. We were able to see some wildlife in the park and the area felt really secure with a fence all the way around. We can't wait for our next visit!

What a magical place. Michelle and Kevin were great hosts - attentive, hospitable and quick to respond to queries before arrival. We felt so well looked after- the whole team really went the extra mile.
Every little detail had been thought of in the tents and camp, down to earplugs in the tents in case you wanted to shut out the night sounds (we didn't). The food provided for our breakfasts and nightly barbecue was excellent quality and was plentiful. The steaks in Kevin's special sauce are highly recommended.
This is absolutely luxury glamping, made unforgettable by the nightly arrival of elephants to the camp!
