We liked this hotel. Well managed, fresh, clean, nice rooms and free WiFi. The breakfast is not super, but as this is France we considered it to be ok. And do try the restaurant, it's actually great! So yes, we will choose this hotel again next time in Mirepoix.

Plain and simple and just right for an overnight stay with a great restaurant. Good value for money. Waited in reception for ages waiting for attention as they were busy serving lunch. The room was dusty in the usual places ie top of lights, picture frames and wardrobe top, but that can soon be remedied. Strangely, no plug for the... More

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel-Restaurant Les Minotiers during our summer 2016 trip. Our hotel room was outstanding and the dinners that we had at the hotel's restaurant were excellent. The hotel's location allowed us to explore the city of Mirepoix and the beautiful Ariege region.

This is a very convenient hotel for visiting the centre of Mirepoix, the rooms are of a good standard and reasonably sized, the ensuite is of good quality. Ours was very clean when we arrived and was kept that way throughout our stay. The staff were helpfully and the lift was a bonus. Free parking right outside the hotel entrance.We... More

This is now the third time of staying, and it hasn't disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and clean but lack atmosphere, but nevertheless you don't need all the whistle and bells for a nights sleep!!! The food is superb. Try the Lamb Pie, which is the chefs speciality, you will not be disappointed. The rest of the menu is typical french... More

We stayed there for 3 nights and it exceeded our expectations. Yes it is lacking in ambiance but the rooms are lovely and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, the breakfast was good and the staff were efficient. And it was absolutely spotlessly clean.

Our room was pleasant enough - spacious with good lighting and storage, and a spotless bathroom, but there is something soulless about this hotel. This feeling was reinforced by the rather casual welcome and the take it or leave it attitude of most of the staff - unusual in France where the everyday courtesy is something to be especially appreciated.... If you enjoy good quality french food and regional wines, the hotel's restaurant is unbeatable! Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Mirepoix is within the region where foie gras is the traditional food and the restaurant serves a delightful starter of foie gras ( cunnard - duck's liver pate ). As with all foie gras, it is... Stayed a couple of nights with a very good room rate via booking .com. Room of decent size, all very new looking with a spacious spotless bathroom. Bed a bit hard for me, but that's just me, I guess. Bar area shared with breakfast paraphernalia so not a lot of sitting area but excellent Leffe blond on tap. 8 euro... More

This was our third stay in the fabulous village of Mirepoix. The previous twice we had stayed at Le Commerce which was OK but nothing special. We seemed to get a good rate on Booking.com for our night in Hotel de Minotiers. The room was fine – reasonably sized with a comfortable bed. It was very clean because of the... More
