Le Tournesol is a lovely old French house in a traditional French village . Vibrant and pretty with alleyways filled with roses and pavement cafes for food and drink . Christine`s meals are also a culinary delight .

Stayed here for just one night prior to giving a surprise visit to a friend no living in the area. We knocked on the door of the caretakers asking if my wife and I could stay the night. The lovely lady and her husband showed us to a four bedroomed bungalow opposite their home. They checked that our room was... More

Christine has her lovely B & B in charming St. Clar in the beautiful pastoral Gers region of SW France. Our quiet room was perfect in comfort, size, cleanliness, location, and modern amenities. Christine was a great source of local information, provided with patience and good humor. She sheltered our bicycles in her garage for the night and made us... More

Our recent 3 night stay at Le Tournesol was everything we had hoped for and more. Christine was so welcoming and a great cook. Our evening meal on the first night began in the garden with aperitifs and continued inside with 3 delicious courses and lots of French wine. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, complete with fan for... More

Saint Clar is a lovely old village surrounded by great walking and cycling country. Gentle rolling hills, fields of wheat, lavender and sunflowers. Lots of beautiful historic villages and markets to visit. And you couldn't find a better place to stay than Le Tournesol. From the moment you arrive Christine makes you feel relaxed. The rooms are tasteful with lots... More

Having stayed at Chris` lovely b and b in 2013, we had no hesitation in returning. From the moment you are greeted at the door, to the time you (sadly) have to leave, it is home from home. Chris has that wonderful way of being friendly, and informative about the area, while giving you the space you need to be... More

Le Tournesol was very easy to get to and is in a central location in the charming well served village of Saint Clar, Midi Pyrenese. The accommodation is first class with 3 excellent double bedrooms, a common dinning room and lounge facilities and is fully equipped with Wifi. Throughout my stay the food was superbly prepared, fresh, regional and varied,... More

Another fabulous trip to St Clar and the lovely Le Tournesol B&B. Chris makes you so welcome, food unbelievable (not to mention the wine). Room 2 (La Garonne) this time - fabulously comfortable bed and lovely bathroom - spotlessly clean with modern fittings while still retaining the traditional charm. Top recommendation.

My wife and I had a lovely night at Le Tournesol while travelling through the area by car with our 6 month baby daughter.
