The Daniel is OK, but it is rather dated and needs a makeover. Cleanliness was just average and some fixtures are in need of repair. I found it odd that the swimming pool closed at 3:30 in the afternoon and the whirlpools (both fresh water and saltwater) closed at 6:30 PM. With

Our family stayed at this hotel while traveling through Israel last month. This hotel was average in cleanliness. The floor in our room didn't look vacuumed, but the linens and bathroom were clean. The buffet in the main dining area was very good. The food was terrific with

Following a previous positive experience, we made a return trip to this magnificent resort hotel staying for three glorious nights. The hotel is extremely well located being just a few steps to the main beach area and a short stroll along a pleasant boardwalk to the newly opened

Horrible service upon checking in, girl on the phone a long time and then made mistakes on both us and our friends, run by Russians, spa dirty, really loud music coming from lobby past bedtime, short hours on pools and spa pools, not looking forward to buffet breakfast. Half of

Awful hotel. Doesn’t deserve the ratings. It’s an old hotel with very old facilities. The pictures are not true to reality. The hotel is also dirty and the food is highly overpriced and disgusting. It is also located at the far end of Ein Bokek which makes it difficult to walk

Is the breakfast Glatt Kosher??
Most of the hotels we visited on our stay were clear on their kosher standards. I did not see anything to indicate that the Daniel Dead Sea Hotel was Glatt Kosher, but it is not something that I personally would have asked about, so it's possible that they could provide something for you.

You should write to the hotel reservations desk and ask them in advance to stay later than 11 am and if there is an extra charge. In any case I am sure you will be able to use the spa and pool after checkout. They have a very good suitcase storage room.

The Daniel is directly across the street from the Dead Sea, so simply a quick walk to get there. There is no charge to go to the sea. Additionally, the hotel pool is filled with water from the Sea so you can keep going with your floating experience after coming indoors! My personal tip: get up early enough in the morning to watch the sun rise over the Sea at seashore.

I saw no animals on the property during the time I was there (only one day). However, I would suggest contacting the hotel directly to confirm their pet policy.
