The room was pleasant, though we did have one mosquito in the room. It is warm if you don't leave the windows open, but we had to shut them. The pool didn't look obviously clean, so I dipped in the cold whirlpool instead, which looked cleaner. That was okay. The breakfast is a very basic continental breakfast. The staff were... More

We spent there 3 days on our travel through Chile. Consisting out of a couple of wooden huts around a lovely garden it was cosy, perfectly well maintained and quiet. The three ladies who run the place really made us feel at home and created a “I am on visit at my auntie’s garden” atmosphere. Everything was clean and spacious.... More

We loved the setting of B&B Stella. You're close to the main part of town but it's set on a very tranquil street with a nice garden property. There was some confusion when we arrived because we were expecting a room with two double beds but they said a quad room was three singles and a cot, so that was... More

I booked for my brother in law and his family when they attended for our wedding in Talca. They booked for 6 nights, and from the beginning of the stay there was trouble. Every single night they slept in a different room and on the day 6, they told to them to abandon the hostal, because the booking is over.... More

Quite simple bungalows not too far from the centre of Talca (~5 min walking distance). Certainly a very good place to be in the warmer season; there is even a little pool - of course at the time I've been there (beginning of September, which is end of winter) with no water in it. There is a little facility for... More

Despite the fact you're in the middle of town (with a very convenient Jumbo nearby), these cabins make you feel like you're in the country. The cabin is roomy enough and the bed comfortable. There's a microwave and small refrigerator in each cabin. The bathroom is tiny but adequate the shower is either scalding or freezing. Breakfast is included, but... More

There isn't a lot to choose from in Talca, to visit the Maule wine region. Considering the choices, Stella is a good choice to stay. You get your own cabanas with small fridge, hairdryer, and automatic soap dispenser. The bed is relatively comfortable and the surroundings are out of town. The price, at 30,000 CLP per night (for two people)... More
