I stayed at Casa Chueca for 4 nights. Each day I went trekking in the Andes. Franz Schubert, the owner, happened to be there on the day I arrived. We are both interested in plants and in trekking and he was very helpful to me in giving me places to go and things to see, not just in the Talca...

The lodge is located in a park with a lot of nature. Simple rooms without TV and Internet is only available in the main building. Vegetarian food only! The establishment does not take credit cards. Just US$ in cash at a very bad rate.

The place is beautiful, colonial style construction, peace and quiet all around. The surroundings are just amazing, especially if you have kids: nice farm animals, lots of space to play around, even a mini kart track. It is a gorgeous place and everyone is very polite. Not for foodies. Food is homemade but nothing very special. Vegan food. Breakfast is...

Showed up without a reservation and ended up staying for 4 amazing days. It was slow season (early October) and they had just opened for the season but you couldn't tell. Our room (private double) was incredibly clean and so was the entire common area. And what an area! Multiple hectares of rolling hills to stroll, a swimming pool, beautiful...

Well organised place. Rooms are great. Neves thought finding a beautifull place like this. It is great when you have children. Huge playground available. Food is just vegetarian no other choice available. Food was good for those who are vegetarian.

I chose Casa Chueca because of the prospect of practising my German during my Spanish-speaking adventure, and consequently, based my trip to Talca upon visiting here. I thoroughly stand by my decision. Reading the few negative experiences of others, it seems that the distance of the lodge to the city is a deterrent, but I found that precisely to add...

Well, it seems to be a nice place on earth, sourrounded by mountains. We did not sleep there (the rooms are nice for sure), but we had the following bad experience(s): We asked for accomodation for our Wedding guests from Germany and the possibility to make a barbecue with them. We were told that this would be impossible because this...

Casa Chueca is not what we expected it to be. We had 5 nights booked there and on our way to Casa Chueca we talked about if we should cancel a few night. What where we to do there for such a long time. After the five noghts we felt the oposite. We wished we could have stayed longer and...

This is a cozy B&B. It seems like a kind of magnet for the German-speaking travelers. Without a car, it may be a bit challenging to locate. If you want a lodging near the center of town, don't stay here. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast quite adequate. The hosts are pleasant and can accommodate you with tours, etc.

The perfect place to be surrounded by nature and feel the comforts of home. It was a very easy and comfortable drive from Santiago. The owner was very charismatic and eager to assist us with anything we needed.
