We have just returned from a fabulous week in Kefalonia and our only complaint is that we didn't stay for two. Although we have been to the Island a few times this was our first time at Alexatos Apartments and hopefully not our last. We had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more, a fridge freezer and full size cooker and plenty of pots and pans . You could actually cook a meal here if you wished.......I didn't, lots of great tavernas nearby!! The bathroom was a treat with a rain water shower, always warm water with excellent pressure. Clean towels were abundant. Parking was never a problem as there is space across the road for about ten cars and the apartment is in a nice quiet area. We slept well, very well indeed as this was by far one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in in Greece. All in all a lovely apartment in a beautiful village ran by a truly wonderful lady. This is a wonderful clean place. I am here for a month and have been before. My children also came. It's very good value and Mirca the owner is just delightful. She is friendly helpful and just a lovely person Will always come here when visiting fabulous Kefalonia Highly recommended

We have stayed here for 9 nights. Apartments are very cosy, clean and well equipped. Owner Mirka is very friendly and helpful. Good value for money and great location with car park in front of the property and see front with local tavernas 3 mins down the road. Would definitely recommend and we hope to come back here next year! :)

We stayed at Mirka Beautiful Alexatos studio apartment in room 3 . The apartment was beautifully situated in the heart of The little village of Agia Effimia. We stayed there for 7 nights in Mid September for our honeymoon. The apartment is basic with bed , kitchen , kettle , stove and cooking appliances , however very comfortable and in easy walking proximity to the sea view and town . Considering the location of the apartments I think we paid a very happy rate for a week. The town Agia Effimia has many local taverns , restaurants and bakeries to choose from . As well as the beaches and water was literally a 2 minute walk from where we stayed . We had fresh shower towels and a room cleaned every day. As well as The owner Mirka kindly washed our clothes for us free of charge and provided much local information to us regarding sites to see. As this was our honeymoon we spent loads of time site seeing town of Assos , Fiskardo , Agia Effimia and other beautiful towns . A hire car is recommended as the island is large but worth the expense as you truly experience and see Cephalonia that way . In my opinion we could have stayed 8-9 days in Cephalonia as it had so much to see and do . Would stay with you again !!! …

We stayed here for a week. The rooms were clean and very good. Our host was very friendly and helpful with everything. Would definitely recommend this place as a base to explore the island of Kefalonia!

I was very happy with my stay here. Mirka is such a lovely and helpful lady, I felt so at home here. The apartment is simple but self-equipped. I have the lower ground (basement) room but there are windows and for the price, I cannot complain. The location is great. Everything is within walking distance: beaches, restaurants, shops and ATMs, local bus stop to Myrtos - Fikardo, or Sami and Antisamos and even Argostoli, port for daily cruises e.g. to Ithaca. I wish I had stayed here for my entire holiday.

The apartment was essential but super comfortable: a room with a little kitchen well furnished, a bed, a beautiful new bathroom with a big shower (towels are included, and every two days you'll find them washed and clean) and, outside, a beautiful balcony with a table. The owners are super kind and always helpful, they made our holiday amazing by letting us know what was worth seeing and helping us whenever in need. Also, Agia Efimia is beautiful, filled with good restaurants, cafes and bakeries and in the perfect position to see everything around easily. I definitely suggest this place if you're looking for a place to rest while exploring this amazing isle.

We stayed at Alexatos Studios for a week. Our flat was the one on the top floor - a good-sized studio with a big comfy bed, basic kitchen corner, a small bathroom and a little patio we could watch the stars from. Cleaning service was excellent - towels were changed every other day, and both towels and bed sheets smelled so good!! The building is a few minutes walking from Agia Efimia port, so location worked very well for us. The only thing we weren't so keen on was the Wi-fi, as it didn't really work from our studio. The fridge was also a bit noisy during the night - but not a big deal! Mirka, the owner, is really sweet and she was a great host. She let us borrow an umbrella for the beach and gave us lots of tips to travel around the island. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we'd be happy to go back!…
