Restaurant quality in terms of service and goods is poor, less than expected; Comfort at the rooms is very deficient due to climatization. Heather cannot be swiched on/off and air condition didn't work according to guests needs too.

Quieter Floors would be nice - Our Room had (locked) door that connected to adjoining room - The noise from our fellow guests in that room was probably the most memorable memory of our stay - breakfast was good & Staff very friendly. The hotel is very well located for exploring the locality, Tui is a nice small town with... More

We stayed at the Parador de Tui for two nights as we did the Camino Portuguese. Comfortable hotel - a little further away from the town centre - but a nice walk along the river. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms... with good air conditioning!

We were met with a very friendly welcome, even though we were early and didn't expect to be able to register, a room was found for us straight away. The room was very clean and quiet at night. We enjoyed walking around large gardens and were pleased to find an outdoor pool. The parador is situated close to the river... More

We stayed 1 night while biking the Camino. Our room (001) was spacious with French doors to a courtyard with table and chairs. We walked to dinner in the evening which was about 10-15 minute walk. Walk was fine and it was a beautiful evening. Breakfast buffet was extensive including tortilla espanol and fried eggs. Quite happy to see the... More

When we arrived there was no one at reception. Eventually they found our booking made some months ago and gave us a little box of a room with two tiny Windows, one at 5 ft looking into a courtyard and the pyre at the same height looking into the storeroom. It seems they do conventions there were two and the... More

Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and located just uphill from river. Dinning room and bar on premises. Beautiful lounge to sit it and just enjoy the ambiance of the lovely setting. Exceptionally clean and very helpful staff. Negatives--found the meal options few and would not recommend the dinning here. The breakfast was exceptional, lots of fresh fruit and eggs were... More

We stayed here one night in late November on our way to Porto. Off season rates allowed us to book a premium room at a very reasonable price. This is a small Parador, and there were few guests. This affected the selection at breakfast, but was otherwise a plus. It was very quiet. The view of the old city is... More

After a long hard day on he Camino we decided to pamper ourselves and booked a night at the Parador in Tui. We were. Stayed at the Parador de Tui Spain on 2 occasions the same week. I first was there from 10/2/15 to 10/4/15 and then again from 10/6/15 to 10/8/15. The first time I had a Premium room with a balcony (huge one at that) with a view of Portugal and Tui Cathedral on the other side. The bed the first stay... More
