We stayed just one night at Westford House but wished it could have been longer. It's beautifully clean and incredibly well equipped. The breakfast is fabulous and the owners kind and friendly. The bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in.

Jo is a lovely host, cooked an excellent breakfast and keeps a very clean, relaxed guest house. Nothing was to much trouble and she was a flexible, friendly lady well informed about places to go and things to do on these lovely islands. The house is in an excellent location with two beaches within a few hundred meters and the shops, cafes, and pubs similarly close at hand.

Although I had to curtail my holiday a little due to Covid, I had another excellent stay at Westford House (nine years in a row now). It was great to get out and about, and roam the islands looking at the wonderful scenery and wildlife. This was helped enormously by the fantastic breakfasts provided by my hosts Joanna and Tom! Thankyou both very much - I am already planning and looking forward to my holiday(s) here for next year!

Enjoyed a very pleasant couple of nights away. Jo was very friendly. Comfortable rooms and hearty breakfast. Great location. Very central and a short walk from the quay where the Scillonian arrives and local pubs. Would recommend.

Stayed for 5 nights at Westford House for our first time in the Isles of Scilly. Jo was so kind and helpful, constantly answering questions and giving helpful tips. Brekky each day was delicious and the rooms very comfortable. The boat man came everyday at breakfast to let the guests know which boats were going where. Deservedly gets 5 stars from us, hopefully we’ll be back soon!

More than a year before an October birding holiday our group reserved what were then all the rooms at Westford House. In the meantime a lower ground floor room, apparently an old kitchen and passageway, was rehabbed and one of the rooms we though we had reserved was assigned to someone else. The remaining room was damp--a dehumidifier running constantly helped a little--, dark, and uncomfortable. A leather loveseat didn't make up for hard beds, a small armoire located in the fireplace so close to the bed it was hard to access, and a step down from the bathroom than could be dangerous at night. The other rooms were apparently quite pleasant, the breakfasts were good, the location convenient, and the hostess cheerful and friendly. Just make sure which room you are booking.

We arrived on the 24th September 2019, our 9th wedding anniversary,it was wet, very cold and extremely windy. We arrived a bit early so left our bags and went off to find somewhere to get a hot drink. When we got back, freezing cold and drenched, we took our bags to our room and were very disappointed that there was no heating on !! Later in the day we went in search of food, still wet, cold and windy, but hey we were on holiday, we found the Atlantic pub / restaurant. We had a drink and a meal, and started to warm up and dry out. Later on we made our way back to the B&B where we hoped the heating was no on, but unfortunatley it wasn't, so after a shower we got in bed to try to get warm. The following morning we went down to the dining room which was cold, had breakfast then went out to hopefully find somewhere to get warm. We are quite used to rain and cold living as we do in the Lake District, but knowing how bad the weather was we thought at least the B&B would be warm. I don't like to give bad reviews but feel people need to know.…

Lovely stay here. Jo is an ideal host. Breakfasts were uniformly excellent, rooms were clean and well-appointed, and we very much appreciated the lounge where we could gather. There were four of us, and a roomy comfortable space to be together was most welcome. Located conveniently near the town center.

I booked Westford house last year after recommendation from another bed and breakfast establishment on St Mary’s!! It was perfect an easy flat walk from the quay and a friendly warm welcome when we arrived!! The breakfast was delicious and it was great to talk to the other guests about their plans for the day and how long they’d been coming to the Scilly Isles!! We will be back and recommending to all our family and friends!! Thank you for making our stay such a great one!!

Very good bed and breakfast. Jo the landlady is extremely helpful. She can advise on which boats are running and even supply you with tickets. The breakfasts were lovely, no hesitation in recommending this as a base for island hopping and eating out in St Mary's.
