We spent a week at Carn Ithen in October. Danni and Nigel were very welcoming and the welcome pack was lovely. The house is well fitted with everything that you need for your stay. Clean and comfortable. Thank you

We spent a lovely week staying at Carn Ithen and thought that everything was provided for an easy stay. We loved the location and Old Town beach was one of our favourites. The owners were there if needed but did not intrude. We couldnt give 5 stars as we all found the sofa and chairs very uncomfortable with little or no... More

Very good self catering facilities in a great location in Old Town Bay. Friendly and helpful owners. Local shop, pub and cafes nearby. Also a very pleasant walk to Hugh Town via the nature reserve where there are bird hides.

What a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Just a few steps to Old Town Bay with views to the South, and less than 100 metres to Lower Moors Nature Reserve, with its pond and bird hides. This became our favoured walk into Hugh Town, which is less than 15 minutes on foot, and where all the boats can be... More

Beautiful accommodation in a fantastic location. The Old Town is quiet and atmospheric. The nature reserve is at the end of the road and is a lovely tranquil place to walk. Unfortunately I was there at the wrong time of year to see migratory birds. Cannot fault anything about the accommodation.

Quite simply this was the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. Every detail had been thought of. The location in the Old Town was great. I just can't wait to go back! The welcome pack provided was brilliant, including local eggs and bacon homemade biscuits and marmalade and a bottle of wine and more! Had the weather... More

All the family had a wonderful three nights at Carn Ithen in August. Nigel and Danni were so welcoming and warm. Breakfasts were delicious and accommodation very comfortable. We loved all the art and ceramics! Our hosts' information about the islands was better than any guidebook. We have many happy memories and hope to return soon.

We stayed at Carn Ithen for a week and had a great time. Carn Ithen is located in Old Town, which is around a 15-20 min walk from the Quay where the boat from Penzance docks. It is in a quiet residential road just 50 metres from a lovely beach. There are several places within a few mins walk to... More
