We decided to scope out Tresco on a winter warmer deal and absolutely loved it (even though our flight was delayed by mist for a day). The cottages are decorated to a very high standard, with everything you need and more. The views both from the front porch and balcony are spectacular, especially in February at off season the island is calm and you can really relax. The cottages are about a ten minute walk from the main part of the village which has a grocery...

Spent a lovely week with family in Seahorse which is in the grounds of the now demolished Island Hotel. It was perfect - gorgeous view from the outside sitting area of the beach and the sea, a stones throw away. The house itself is perfectly equipped down to the last detail - couldn't fault it in anyway. There were six...

Tresco is a place I have wanted to visit for over 20 years and finally to celebrate a special birthday my husband arranged a surprise trip for me. We flew from Exeter to St Mary's, be warned they are very strict on luggage weight and size including handbags! We were met and transported to the docks where we met up...

Just returned from what should have been a 3 night stay, but because of cancelled IOS flight ( see review) ended up paying for 3 nights, staying for 2. Of course the weather is not their fault, but there is an arrogant complacency from the estate. A refund on the unused breakfast portion of our stay, or even a voucher...
