Have stayed here on numerous occasions in both the one bedroom and two bedroom units...... Clean, well equipped budget accommodation in the heart of the town walking distance to shops and places to eat, the owners Mark and Kyra are welcoming and friendly. Beds are very comfortable with good quality linen and pillows, electric blankets for cool nights and r/c...

Good location, within easy walking distance of local restaurants. Outdoor appearance is deceiving: spacious tiled living area with 2 easy chairs, TV, table with 4 chairs, good sized refrigerator, well equipped kitchen, spacious toilet with curtained shower, but only a minuscule sink with practically no space to place toiletries. Small carpeted bedroom with a queen sized bed, an extra bed...

Found this by chance, Trip Advisor had it under Specialty section. Really clean and had all we needed, heated aircon was enough to keep it warm. Old dwelling but really functional. After all the reviews for the two hotels, we were going to leave town, glad we stopped here.

This is very nice and clean budget accommodation run by a very friendly and welcoming couple, Mark & Kyra. If you don't require all the "bells and whistles and you want a spacious quiet stay this is a great option. Having empty land on both sides makes it quiet and private, except for the crows! We have enjoyed our stay...

The room is very spacious and kitchen is very well equipped. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We felt at home and comfortable. Price of the room is very reasonable as well. It's located in the centre of Augusta which makes it very convenient. Love our stay there!

Exterior deceiving. Parking outside of unit. Family run motel. Checked in and the electric blankets were already warming up after a very cool day. Happy to suggest eating places to us. Bed was one of the best we had in the past week, but we could hear the next unit.

Communication was excellent with Kyra from the get go. All my inquires were responded to very quickly. As others have reviewed, Augusta Escape could do with a refurb/facelift but let me tell you, - it is exceptionally clean - it has pretty much everything you could wish for (our unit (number 2) didn't have a washing machine but it did...

Wow what a surprise.. its an old looking building and the furniture bit dated but its spotless we stayed in a two bedroom self contained unit. The place is huge. Kitchen laundry/bathroom. Lounge dinning area . Full size fridge oven. Everything you need not fancy but perfect.. you can walk everywhere in the town. The manager she was lovely.
