On our way to Exmouth from Tom Price we booked to stay at the Homestead caravan park . Unfortunately my wife became ill and we had to cancel the booking two days before we were due to arrive. They refused to refund any of our money and were most unsympathetic. We plan to return to the area next April but...

Spent a few days here a few weeks ago. New managers were fantastic. Nothing too much trouble and tried so hard to make our stay enjoyable. Just need to spruce the place up a bit. Some social activities like a camp oven damper night or just a camp fire for those who want to socialise would be great. Have seen...

Stayed Sept/Oct 2016. Yardie Homestead is thoroughly old-fashioned. The sign on the entry road says 'Wilderness Camping' and this is an accurate reflection of the facilities you can expect there. It's better suited to the camper trailer, camper van traveller rather than pitching a tent as we did. It's a bit of a dust-bowl and quite exposed to the wind....

This is a great camp/caravan park, if you like old fashioned camping. Staff very friendly & helpful, facilities great, communal camp kitchen with everything you need (although could do with one more gas burner, during the busy times). Our kids didn't like the playground very much - it's for the younger ones - but they liked the pool area and...

Simon is a fabulous chef! We were only at the caravan park for 9 nights (and on a budget) but we ended up eating at his restaurant at the park 5 times! Such great value and good food. The steak was the best we ever had. The garlic prawns were also delicious. Roast night is every Sunday and not to...

It had all the things we needed, a pool and some showers. Friendly people which helped us out great. Further, stay awake for a while because over here it gets really dark (compared to europe). The bright stars are amazing.

Wouldn't have known where to find this place if we hadn't of been told to go past the other Caravan sites and head for this one instead. $32 for unpowered site - access to kitchen (sink, fridge/freezer, bbq flat top & two gas rings & a few picnic benches), TV, Pool, 24hr showers & toilets, plus laundry area. Brilliant place...

Loved the set up here, well sized camp sites for tent to be pitched. Everywhere clean and well maintained. Small store come reception area which has the basic supplies, although Exmouth is not that far if you need to top up. It would be useful if the wifi was working for travellers to use. There is however a payphone there...

The caravan parks proximity to the ningaloo national park and the town boat ramp make it ideal for those looking to escape the rat race and relax. Short drive to town. Good facilities with a good restaurant onsite. The camp is mostly out of range, however there is a telstra phone hotspot at the main camp kitchen for when you...

Depends what you want to do. The park is 25km or so out of Exmouth so no banks or shops nor phone or internet reception.. The managers are very friendly & helpful, the pool is great and the villas clean with good BBQ. But of course bring all your own supplies, & you need your own vehicle to stay here....
