This is a beautifully designed and maintained motel. I liked the fact that the rooms have doors opening to an interior hallway and to the large outside porch. The room itself was clean and neat but a bit small. So was the bathroom. There is coffee and tea available all the time. The dining room is large and can be...

My wife and I wanted to stay a night in a place close to Porongurup National Park. Rayanne, located just outside Mt Barker, appeared to fit the bill. It is in a rural setting, and it is very charming to wake up in the morning and look out at the mist over the paddocks. There are no dining facilities so...

We have stayed here a few times now and love the layout of this homestead, Both hosts are friendly, helpful and very accommodating .. I would definitely stay here again, Basic rooms but spotless, we love the access to the verandah which surrounds the entire homstead, fabulous for morning coffee and a chance to breathe in that beautiful freah country...

A warm welcome after a long drive! Lovely homestead with clever design for access make it a an ideal (comfortable) base camp close to all the attractions of the region. The hosts are lovely/genuine and are happy to help with day trip planning/suggestions. Rooms are simple but more importantly spotlessly clean and comfortable. And lastly cute farm animals to make...

My husband and I recently had a great week there. Having stayed there on numerous occasions, we felt really at home and very comfortable, with very friendly hosts. Lovely, relaxing surroundings. Highly recommend as B&B accommodation.

Hi Margaret we are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you both again. No one has seen the queen of sheba to date :-( so you will have to come back next year and she may not be so shy.

As i checked in the door handle came of in my hand. Interesting i thought. The lady at check in was quite pleasant although would have been better understood if she put her false teeth in. Her glass eye was set at a jaunty angle making it tricky to determine who she was talking to. My room was ok and...

thank you for your review, on the plus side, we did catch quite a few fish that day, and you will be glad to know the circus has now left town, the elephant was fine, and the roses are blooming lovely!

Once again we chose Rayanne because of it’s location and very reasonable prices, and although we arrived extremely late for our check in we were made very welcome. Our rooms were clean and bright with lovely views, and the beds had nice crisp bed sheets. There was also a TV room and communal breakfast area, where we met and made...

Hi everyone, I like to hike and visited the Pongurups while passing through. The accommodation is very close to the castle rock walk, maybe 30 minutes drive. The walk isn't overly challenging but is very nice (maybe half day tops). The views from the top are great but it's no Ben Nevis. The accommodation is clean, lots of parking, easy...

Very comfortable rooms, nice location. I have been around Southern WA on business. This is by far the best place I have stayed on my trip. No doubt I will be back and would prioritise Rayanne over other places. Good connections to area if driving.

I saw some pictures of this homestead when I booked the room, but really appreciated the environment when we got there. The main building is surrounded by green pasture, bird-perching trees, and beautiful flowers, and there are a few farm animals wandering freely. We felt relaxed immediately. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We chatted a little, and got...

Thank you for your review, it is much appreciated and we are glad you enjoyed your stay. That is a really good idea about camera hooks, as many of our guests are here to take in the wildflowers and local scenery and have a camera or binoculars. I think I have come up with a solution, many thanks and safe...
