The 'rooms' have the feeling of small cabins, eclectically furnished with microscopic bathrooms that don't appear to have been thoroughly cleaned for some years. All a bit tired for our taste, though Jenny makes up for it as a very friendly host. Setting is very tranquil next to the lake.

We stayed one night with Jenny and her husband in their lakeside B & B. Pleasant outlook on the bank of their lake with lawns and ducks. Generous hostess and breakfast. A twenty minute drive to dinner at the Walpole Tavern. Rooms clean and comfortable - a bit dated. A pleasant place to stay.

We found this little gem by default as we were travelling on Anzac weekend with no accommodation booked. An amazing setting with very friendly and helpful hosts. Tea on arrival and superb breakfasts. Ducks on the lake and kangaroos in the evening and the cheeps of newly hatched ducklings to accompany your breakfast...who could ask for more. Our only regret...

This is a little gem tucked away outside of Walpole on the edge of the forrest and ideal to completely relax and listening to mother nature. If you travel with teenagers who won't survive without mobile phones & wifi than it's not the place for you but if you need peace and quite and a sanctuary away from the hustle...

Jenny's lake is quite remote but it is peaceful as other reviewers have said. Jerry greeted us with a cup of tea & biscuits & Jenny joined us shortly after treating us like long lost friends. We went back to Walpole for an evening meal but the eating place Jenny recommended was shut & the other place had a power...

We only had one night at Jenny's but should have stayed longer. So peaceful, tranquil, beauiful; the lake complete with ducks. Go to sleep to the frogs' chorus. All the rooms overlook the lake, all clean and comfortable. Jenny (plus charming grandchildren) are very welcomng as is the cat. Whatever Jenny's baking when you arrive, breakfast au choix in the...

We stayed at Jenny's lake for 2 nights during our visit to Walpole. The place is beautiful and very peaceful, with all rooms overlooking the lake. Jenny is very welcoming and greeted us with a cuppa and homemade biscuits. This is a very basic B&B but it does have all you need such as tea/coffee making facilities, tv, private bathroom,...

Last minute choice and a good one at that. Jenny and Tabs (the cat) welcome you at the gate. The room was comfortable and clean. It has a great view looking out over the late. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed 2 nights in this room overlook the lake, it's not a very trendy and modern house but it's comfort and relax. Each room has own bathroom. Jenny the owner was so nice and friendly, and she showed you a short walk around her house, and it was so peaceful and quiet. We used her bbq facilities and had...

Originally booked for one night as we were passing through Walpole but ended up staying for two nights in this beautiful, peaceful spot. Jenny is a wonderful host & we were greeted with coffee & home made shortbread on arrival. The room was comfortable and had an idilic view of the lake and at night we were serenaded by frog...
