Newly upgraded. Comfortable room, no shaver contact in toilet, kettle power point was on floor level. New bed switched off the lights when moved against the wall :-) Room very clean and daily service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Take a bow the Burnie and all the great staff. The Hogmanay Rod Stewart tribute night was excellent. All the young staff were very attentive and the food gorgeous. All the clientele were lovely too and all in all we had a brilliant night. Roll on Hogmanay 2017.

7 ladies had a fantastic party last night at the Burnside Hotel. Food, staff and the band were all great. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a festive night out. Drinks were also reasonably priced. Will book for next year Gina Burnside

Just had lunch and I can honestly say it was probably one of the worst collection of plates I have ever encountered. Firstly the nachos were smothered in a horrible soup like salsa with unmelted cheese. Second course was macaroni and cheese served with fries the pasta broke and became mush like as soon as the fork touched it, no...

Love the Burnside Hotel because of its location and the fact that the staff are adorable and can't do enough to for you. My rating would be 5 if only for their policy on e-cigs. One evening recently there was a group of 5 people sitting at the table next to us all blowing vapour over us and our food...
