5 of us went for dinner last week for a family celebration. The dining area is, at best , "beige" ! Not very inspiring or welcoming. The menu seemed very basic and several of us struggled to choose. Starters ranged from a large plate of nachos to a small slice of black pudding and poached egg sitting in a pool of... More

Just had lunch and I can honestly say it was probably one of the worst collection of plates I have ever encountered. Firstly the nachos were smothered in a horrible soup like salsa with unmelted cheese. Second course was macaroni and cheese served with fries the pasta broke and became mush like as soon as the fork touched it, no... More

Love the Burnside Hotel because of its location and the fact that the staff are adorable and can't do enough to for you. My rating would be 5 if only for their policy on e-cigs. One evening recently there was a group of 5 people sitting at the table next to us all blowing vapour over us and our food... More

I recently had my full wedding ceremony, photos, meal and evening reception here. The whole day went very smooth. The food was great the whole place looked lovely. The staff were so helpful organised and very professional. We will never forget what an amazing wedding experience we had here. Highly recommended it for any occasion.

The bathroom was dated and the shower needed numerous... More
