They have an ideal location in a lovely village - hidden away feeling but 30 min to Glasgow and close to Trossachs. House and grounds are just amazing. We also enjoyed dinner and whisky tasting only minutes' drive away. The innkeepers' son William was a wonderful host for a portion of our stay and then Sabrina and Douglas returned. They...

We found elegant comfort at the Finglen house during our recent stay while walking the John Muir Way. We were greeted with a warm welcome from Sabrina, the proprietor, a pot of tea and cookies, and a blazing fire before retiring to soak our aches away in the warmth of her long bathtubs. Our full Scottish breakfast included home grown...

Sabrina and Douglas are great hosts and made us feel very welcome, along with their two lovely dogs. Such a great location with a beautiful burn running through the ample gardens. The house is quiet, warm and beds are really comfortable. Old Mill in nearby Kilearn is a great place for food (as recommended by Douglas).

What a beautiful peaceful setting! Home from home, open fires, comfortable beds and great breakfasts! Sabrina and Douglas are attentive hosts and their two dogs are friendly and sweet. A great place to unwind with big skies and the sound of water over rocks through the garden snow sun and rolling hills yet equidistant from all the attractions. Falkirk Kelpies...

A very lovely property and Douglas and Sabrina were extremely inviting into their home. Very lovely fire place and sitting room, two adorable wee dogs, a very comfortable bedroom and both the cereal/yogurt and the cooked breakfast were very tasty. Douglas was also very helpful providing directions to nearby places for food or to get to nearby landmarks. Overall we...

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Finglen House. Everyone so hospitable and very helpful. Beautiful home in very pretty setting. Just make sure to read driving directions very carefully. Name of home is not on the main road.

After you manage the little challenge to find it - look for Schönstatt entrance - you reach a very cosy and classic B&B at an exceptional setting. This is the kind of place where movie makers would properly choose for a perfect B&B location shot. But beside the fact it is simply a great, distinctive, feel good B&B, which is...

A wonderful home in a fantastic location. The hosts, the Campbell family, are all delightful and made us and our dogs so very welcome. Very comfortable in every sense. Great for walking the dogs and the gardens are lovely and completely safe and tranquil, even with a beautiful stream. Hens and guinee fowl running free so not for every dog...

The hosts Sabrina and Douglas made us very welcome. The room was comfortable and peaceful and the breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend a stay here; in the country but no distance from Glasgow or Edinburgh with places to eat out and visit nearby.
