Called to make a reservation as we tried to stay there a few years ago, but they were booked solid so tried again recently and was told that it is no longer a B&B. Stayed at the Ann Street Inn and had a wonderful time so I recommend this B&B if you are looking for a great place to stay... More

My wife & I spend 2 days hiking the Neusiak trail and were ready to pamper ourselves with a B&B in Beaufort......We lucked out with our selection. Just a block away from the ocean inlet and the shops & restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet part of Ann street. Our 2nd floor room was very comfortable, full of cozy... More

Amazing location, home and best of all - the host and hostess make sure guests are better cared for then they deserve! The mere mention of hunger pains and the Captain leaps for the phone to make reservations for his new friends. Two thumbs up :)

My husband and I took a long weekend trip to stay with Captain Dick and Ms. Ruby at the Captain's Quarters Bed and Bicuit in Beaufort, NC as a way of wrapping up all of the summer hustle bustle. We were looking forward to having a relaxed weekend, and what better town to do that in than Beaufort. Our welcome... More

My sister and I found The Captain's Quarters via the internet, and made reservations the same way. When we arrived, we were met by Captain Dick and Miss Ruby. The house was beautiful, every antique in the home was actually a part of the family history, and Captain Dick and Miss Ruby made us feel as if we were the... More

Stayed in the room with twin beds for two nights while running the road race. The location was excellent - Front Street with its restaurants and shops, as well as its attractions (Beaufort Historic Site, NC Maritime Museum) were minutes away. Captain Dick and his wife Ruby were wonderful and gracious hosts and made the place feel like home -... More

We had a fantastic welcome at this lovely old inn and the captain was both helpful and entertaining. The room was superb and the breakfast was outstanding. We were sad that we only had the time to spend one night in this splendid area. The Spouter Innis also highly recommended for dinner especially if you like seafood.
