Beech Mountain is an absolute beautiful area! We came for summer not for snow season. Our unit we stayed in at the Pinnacle was updated, clean and had everything we needed. We are staying for 6 months and it will be perfect or that!

If you are used to driving in ice and snow, it won't be a problem. The resort is accessed by narrow, curving, mountain roads, just like any ski resort. Carry chains, drive with care, and you should do just fine. We were there in October and our major problem was fog where you couldn't see 3 feet in front of you.
