Food and setting are very pleasant. Our experience was marred slightly by what seemed to be an urgency on the proprietor’s part to collect the fee and clear the table. It was an American, ‘eat and move on,’ experience rather than a European, ‘welcome, have...More

Spent a long weekend last month and had a delightful experience. Everything was low key which added to the relaxation factor. Service at dinner and breakfast was exceptional. There aren't any 'dinner specials' each night, but there are enough selections to satisfy your group's taste...More

Ooh, We hope you'll come back for another stay! You are right, though. The nice thing about the meal set-up at The Red Rocker Inn is that those that want a quiet intimate table can easily enjoy that experience while the socialites can always find...More

This is the perfect place for a getaway--- charming and quiet but close to shopping, Asheville, Blue Ridge parkway , Montreat, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, and apple orchards galore! We stayed again in the 3 Mountaineers room on the 2nd floor. It's a nice size...More

Hmm, I'm getting hungry! We agree with you - The Red Rocker Inn is so charmingly situated among so many lovely things to see and do. And the Three Mountaineers room is a favorite of mine for it's large closet, large bathroom with a whirlpool...More

The house has a great front porch to sit out and enjoy, but the individual rooms don't have their own balcony or porch.
