We recently spent three nights at the lovely hidden Valley motel. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and remarkably well decorated in a country manner. The proprietors Jim and Maxine are extremely nice. Maxine's garden is worth the time. It's a great value too. Like another reviewer said I wish I could find a place like this everywhere we...

We were fortunate to be able to stay at the Hidden Valley Motel for a couple of nights in early May during a 3 weeks tour of the South. It is very refreshing to find a true motel nowadays: this is an outstanding example of the genre. The property, which is traditional in style, lies some way out of town...

I debated if I should give this a four or a five---it could go either way. It is very clean, very, very clean and a great value. It is a retro "mom and pop" that has two great hosts. The rooms are large for the price you pay. The only things that keep it from being a five are the...

If you don't need to be pampered, this is the place for you. very nice people offering clean accommodations and comfortable beds. there are no extras but for $55.00 you'll be satisfied. the owners, who live nearby, could not have been nicer.

We chose this motel because of the good price, excellent location to Hawks Nest, and good reviews. Admittedly, we had our reservations going into an old motel. However, this amazing little mom and pop motel changed our opinion. Yes , it's old- but the managers of this property make it feel classy. The motel is old, but so are their...

I wish I could find a Hidden Valley Motel in every town I visit. I wish the search engines had the ability for us to find the perfect little getaway that is clean, comfortable, friendly, beautiful gardens, and old-school family or couple oriented slice of life. We are headed on a road trip and all I can think about is...

Hidden Valley Motel is more like staying with friends than a motel experience. Our room had antique/collection decor and family photos. The room had ample space, clean, comfortable mattresses, extra pillows, plenty of towels, and wi-fi. The owners are SUPER friendly and we truly enjoyed meeting them. Travelers will need to know that room amenities such as soaps and shampoo...

Thanks for the nice review, Maxine and I find this to be a fun business and enjoy meeting our guests. Maxine has never been a coffee drinker, me I understand the need, hopefully we will have coffee makers available in the near future. Soaps and shampoo, rooms should have a couple of bars of soap and a couple of packets...

Booked a weekend during App State Family weekend based upon reviews on Tripadvisor and glad we did. No long lines waiting for waffles in the morning or screaming kids (with mindless parents) using the hot tub as a swimming pool. Just a simple warm, clean, and cozy room to relax for the weekend and enjoy a good nights rest. Our...
