We stayed back in January and it was awesome. We stayed in one of the ocean front suites, the views were great, the room had just been re done, and it looked awesome. Overall it was an awesome place, the people were friendly, and it had a "mom and pop" feel to it. Will definitely be back.

This weekend was my third stay at the Mermaid Manor, but this was my best by far! The new renovations are amazing, and the new management was outstanding. The staff always show genuine hospitality and I love that my pets are always welcome!

This place was just horrible I had to clean the place as soon as we got there. There were bedbugs and really dirty and old Hawaiian style sheets. The office smelled like cigarette smoke, it was just a mad house in front of the beach. Great location but you won't feel safe staying here.

I feel it is my duty to inform people that the room I stayed in at Mermaid Manor had bedbugs. I was there for a birthday weekend with my boyfriend. The owners were friendly and even lent us their bike locks. But at 2:30 am we awoke, the bed (and our bodies) literally crawling with bedbugs. We had to ride...

If you want to stay at a beach front spot that appeals equally to your toddler and dog, this is the place for you. It has a ton of character, offers free parking and is in walking distance of shopping and restaurants. It faces the beach and also has a pool. If you expect the marriott, room service or floors...

The stay I had with my family at Mermaid Manor was a fun 2 night stay. It was nice to be right on the beach but it was too crowded in my opinion. Of course, we had 8 people (2 busy babies). We could've used more bathrooms. The management was extremely kind and willing to fulfill most of our needs...

The good is the awesome oceanfront location, the large room size, and the fact that Mermaid Manor is pet friendly. The area is quiet and private as there is an empty lot on one side and a private residence on the other. Patty, the manager, is very helpful and friendly. The not so good is that there is a definite...

We stayed at this hotel 8/15/14-8/17/14 and our rooms 206/208 were infested with BED BUGS!! Unfortunately we did not notice until Sunday morning 8/17 when my friend woke up itching and had a bed bug on his back. We then pulled back the comforter and found blood streaks on the sheets along with 3 more adult bed bugs. We smashed...

For the first time in a long time, I actually made the reservation before I read the reviews. Perhaps that's why, for the most part, I was pleasantly surprised. This is most definitely an old school beach hotel. The solid panelling is dark, but beautiful. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are clean. The...

After reading some of the other reviews before arriving at Mermaid Manor, I was a little apprehensive about what lay in store for us during our weekend stay. I was relieved, however, when I arrived and Patty, the manager, was very friendly and accommodating. I even brought one more person than I had originally told her and she brought out...
