We looked for Rail Trails to escape the winter in Toronto, and then looked for B & B's. Carol's is a block south of the from the Riddle Road Spur on South Alston. We booked because it looked good on line, was convenient and sounded pleasant. We like B & B's- this one is nicely set up, with a great...

I stayed here for two nights while visiting a customer in the Research Triangle area. I'd just completed another long trip and was tired of hotels, so I looked for a B&B near the customer's offices and found Carol's. It was exactly what I needed - a cozy home with charm instead of a sterile room at some major hotel...

Warm place to stay on the coldest night of the year. Much better than a hotel room, and a great breakfast prepared at a time convenient for us. For a great night's sleep, visit Carol's Garden Inn, Durham, NC.

This is a lovely home, the perfect distance from downtown and Duke University - about 10 minutes from anywhere you want to go. The room was very comfortable and clean. Carol is a wonderful and personable host, and her breakfast was absolutely delicious. She also recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Highly recommended!

For a short business trip I needed a clean and affordable option that was close to downtown. This was perfect, nice and quiet, and I especially liked that I knew my car would be safe parked here. here are several other regular hotels in the area and I had read reports of cars being broken into, so this was a...

We chose Carol's Garden Inn at the last minute instead of staying at a hotel before our flight out the next day and we were so glad we did. Beautiful, well cared and obviously loved old home, lovely warm welcoming room with Jacuzzi and candles, excellent breakfast and afternoon cookies and all the tea, coffee, sodas, bottled water you could...

This charming B&B is a quiet, charming old home with all the right touches. We were welcomed by Carol herself, and we all visited over homemade cookies and hot tea. There were also unlimited bottles of water on hand. Carol has done an excellent job of anticipating our every need. Our room was clean and comfortable for my husband and...

As soon as we pulled into the driveway of CAROLS GARDEN INN,the stress of the busy city was behind us...the man-made ponds in their yard was very soothing.Carol and Steve the Innkeepers are very kind people and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We had both rooms for our visit and they were clean and homey. We...

Passing through Durham I stayed here one night. The room was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was very good as well and Carol is a very friendly innkeeper. The place is a little far from restaurants being in a very residential part of town so you definitely need to drive to eat. Carol has a good list of restaurants.

I had never stayed in a B&B before, but the fact that Carol's Garden Inn only had two rooms was what appealed to us and the other couple with whom we were traveling. This Inn is terrific. The owners are friendly, the rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and the location is convenient. The chocolate...
