Some folks (like my hubby) always fall into this propaganda. Well, it is the first time in my life that I go to "get breakfast" in a super extremely cheap dinning area offering one large container of jelly, margarine, cream cheese to all guests. You have to share. lol They offer you the following: old sandwich bread, old bagels and... More

I thought this motel was overpriced and over rated. The owners were very friendly, but I didn't feel the room was very clean and needed updating. The lampshades were torn, there was a flimsy mattress cover on the bed, the towels old, and I just didn't feel it was very clean. The breakfast was very basic and not good. Tang,... More

Looked nice from outside. We had room 106 on backside of hotel. Bathroom door busted, uncomfortable bed, room smelled had to go buy Febreeze to make room bearable. Commode rocked when we sat on it. Air conditioner did not work very well. Meager breakfast. Our of coffee by 8:00. No coffee-maker in room. Staff that checked us in was very... More

Place looked nice from outside and when we asked to see our room they showed us a nice room close by the main desk area and said that all rooms were like it. Well, they were right for the most part except Our room on the backside of the motel had....1) A overly used (dirty & broken down) recliner 2)... More

Comfortable double-beds, refrigerator, microwave & coffee-maker a bonus. Room was quiet and exactly what we were looking for to cover a one-night stay for 3 adults. Dustin at the front desk was awesome! He gave us turn-by-turn directions to Wilson Creek in the Pisgah National Forest. We had a great time exploring our way up to the Blue Ridge Parkway!... More

Being 30 minutes from very poplar Blowing Rock this motel met our needs for a reasonable price. Bed was comfortable and facility clean. The friendly young man behind the desk is great to work with and they are pet friendly. I recommend it.

Very warm welcome, plenty of parking, only two places to eat nearby if one didn't wish to take car, although a pizza takeaway almost next door. Bathroom needed some attention, only a few towels, not enough for two people, beds comfy, but pillows very poor. Quiet area quite restful for a night stop.

My husband and I were travelling with our 2 Jack Russells and this is the only hotel in town that accepts pets. Within an hour or so of being in the room, the dogs were covered in fleas. They are on a flea preventative so the fleas were dying but there were so many of them that we spent 2... More

Room ok, bath filthy with long black hair & a razor cover left in bath, told the manager lady & she screamed at me & walked away, no tea in room, coffee only, TV about to die, bath had no drain assembly so you could not bath, or fill the sink, same story, no eggs or bacon for continental breakfast,... Traveling through the area with our pet dog, this was the only place that had a pet friendly room available that night. They charge $20 extra per pet, which made our stay for 2 people almost $100 dollars. The hotel was old and not very clean, certainly not worth the money they charge. Would not stay here again.
